I am grateful for my family, two kids and my three grandchildren. They are my reasons for living. I have trouble walking but get around well enough to enjoy myself,family friends and relationships. Still love going out to dinner and socializing, and although dancing is out, I still have a good time. I am having an invention being patented at this time, who knows what will happen with that.Necessity is the mother of invention, so it remains to be seen. Anyway I do not believe one can summurize one's existence of 63 years in a few lines, if you are intrigued follow through. Never have been materialistic, so you need not hide your gold! (so to speak) P.S. i do not hike, ride motorcycles,skydive, climb mountains of jump through anybodies hoops. If you understand what I am trying to say, good, that's where iit starts. . I am grateful for all of the experiences in my life because they have led me to who I have become today. Although it has sometimes been painful, I couldn't have designed my life any better in order to keep opening my heart to myself and to others, and to an awareness that we are all in this together. I feel like this is the best time in my life because of who I have become. We all have that potential, and I have made it a primary goal. I don't actually need a relationship, but I would love one because I like loving and caring about one special person...eventho that is sometimes hard and takes a deep commitment to the relationship and to each other. I'm looking for someone who has also grown to become self actualized, no matter what that looks like. Life is the great teacher, and growth and a path of self realization can take many forms: sports or some type of movement, service to others, relationships or a meditation practice (which isn't necessarily separate from any of those I mentioned). I want a man with a rich inner and outer life, who is self aware most of the time and who has the tenacity and skills to stick with it when a relationship is tough and can work together with me as a partner to find the gift in whatever life presents to us. I see a relationship as an opportunity to support and enhance each other's life experiences, not propping each other up or controlling each other's journey, but celebrating and honoring the unique human beings that we are. My spiritual path is primary to me, and I meditate daily. My partner doesn't have to be on the same spiritual path, but I do want someone who honors my journey and has a spiritual commitment of their own of some type that is compatible to and accepting of mine. I like a man who is able to hold me in all ways, and who is able to see and support the inner and outer beauty of who I am and what I bring to the world. I would hope to do the same for him. As far as shared interests, I love nature and being out in it; dancing; music; singing; concerts; plays; theater; movies; games; gatherings; writing groups; book groups; camping; fishing (I watch or read after my line gets tangled!); walking; laughing; meditating. My partner doesn't have to do all of these things, but just honor my enthusiasm for them, as I will do for what he loves to do.
