I've recently moved back to the area for a traveling assignment and am hoping to making Phoenix my permanent home. I'm a health care professional from the Midwest (where they raise 'em right) and I will never lose sight of my home. I am probably one of the most easily amused people you'll ever meet, as life is too short to act any other way, in my opinion. I recently ended a relationship and, for now, am just looking for a man to help acclimate me to my new home. I'm up for almost anything from the outdoors to concerts to beer festivals to movie marathons to experiencing new foods that I can't identify or pronounce...and I'm always open for suggestions :)

. About 5 years ago something clicked and I realized we only have to live the life we are given for ourselves. At the end we only have ourselves to answer to. We spend so much time worrying about what other people think and in the end no ones opinion matters except your own. That's when I started living my life so that I can say I have no regrets, I made my mother proud, I positively impacted the lives of those around me, I accomplished what was most important to me, and those that I love never doubted how I felt.
I have traveled parts of the world and will continue to see what the world has to offer for the rest of my life. Traveling and experiencing life is one of the things that makes my life as amazing as it is. If money was not an option I could easily give up all materialistic things and I would be happy sleeping in my car, a hostel, or camping as I traveled the world. I love to people watch and think the airport is by far the best place to do so. I have a close circle of friends that know how important they are to me. At this point in my life I am over the superficial friendships/ relationships created at the bars that end Sat at 2a. I am looking for genuine quality in my life not quantity. I am a huge burger lover and will hunt down the best burger along my travels. I don't like to be the center of attention on purpose but I will have fun no matter where I am. I'm not afraid to be myself no matter the venue. I am most comfortable wearing jeans and flip flops. Not to say I can't or won't dress up, It is just more my style to be in flip flops. During the fall I love to watch football both college and NFL. It does not control my weekends but I will plan my weekend around a good game if it's worth it.
I am currently in school to get my nurse practitioner. I have been a nurse in emergency medicine for 5 years and feel it is time to take my career to the next step. After graduation I would like to become involved with a clinic in Africa offering prenatal care. It has always been important to me to have a positive impact on peoples lives, and no one is more grateful then those that don't expect it.
I am looking for honesty, without it everything else is meaningless. A traveler who needs no plans just a destination, and sometimes not even that, is a must. Someone who will wear RedSox gear to Yankee stadium even if it means running to the car after the game to avoid the crazy Yankee fans. (Unless your a Yankee fan then it's just a fun competition.)
