Meet someone special from Anchorage, United States. If you dont have photos, why wink or write? Its simple, this isnt blind dating, just give an explanation of WHY you cant post them as this is important to guys.
I'm a mellow character with great optimisim, love to joke around and have fun with ironic, irreverent, facious and sarchasitic humor. I enjoy growing Flowers from seeds in the spring, and for the first time, grew some food last spring. It was only strawberries but was my first foray into food.
I work with computers for a living, but have done other technician type work. I've thrown chain on an oil rig, and serviced commercial Laundry equipment. But what might be the perfect business.......it might be organizing exotic travel for people, then going with them on the travel. Best of both worlds. I am a dog person, but dont mind a cat or two. (Magnanimous of me yes?)
I am looking for someone who doesnt want to be at home all the time, isnt afraid of putting on some layers and doing something outdoors. Prefer the adventureous types that dont need a detailed plan. An example would be: "Road trip in 30 minutes!" Good conversations, sharing similiarities, enjoying differences. Someone who isnt locked into their own views, but has genuine openmindedness. People who enjoy the company of people, are not on match just because they are lonely or have burned all their bridges.
Enjoy Alaska................ while its still here!

Date a soulmate from United States. I want to enjoy life and the people around me. I am prone to sponaneous activities and always have multiple projects I am doing. I want to be active not sitting around watching TV, that is for your old age years. I love old cars, working on them and building them.

Meet someone special from United States. Type A overachiever has been used to describe me. There's not much that I take on that I don't want to do well, if not the best. For a great while this has been the search for financial stability through a job that provides both personal challenge and gratification, as well as some financial reward.
And while financial security is certainly very desirable I have tried to remember that there are many things in life that money can't buy; family, true friends and health to name a few. These have to be invested in in other ways, mainly time; often just to talk, listen and care. I would do just about anything to help anyone in my family; presently 3 brothers and their families; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins; all whom I feel very blessed with. I have close friends who fall into two main categories, those that I work out or fish with and those that I dine and drink wine with, some being in both groups, many that I work with. Became a little caught up in the financial success mode for the past few years but have returned to the search for personal health recently and have established a good work out schedule. In fact, that is one of the areas that a potential partner could be most helpful; working out with me or trying to develop a healthy active lifestyle with a good diet and activities like biking, skiing or walks. Indeed the best attribute a woman could have would be the ability to inspire me to be a better man. Seems a little contradictory to talk about strong personal health goals while having a wine cellar and enjoying fine dining but as one of my martial arts instructors once said, "what good does it do to live a hundred years if you don't have any fun." So right now I looking for that right balance for me.
While I want someone who wants to do some of the exciting things in life like boating in Prince William Sound, skiing Alyeska or travelling to various parts of the world, my ideal person would be someone that also has strong personal health values, strong family values and a quick wit would be nice. A person whose opinion that I can value or more importantly can stand up to my opinion and tell me when they think that I'm wrong, then tell me why. You know, provide me with insights or perspectives that I may just not have after being single all my life.
In the end I feel that I am a good person who wants to be better, that has set a strong base for a good life and now wants to find a person that has a true passion for life and who wants to develop that life further with me. I guess the rest you'll just have to find out for yourself.:)

Date a man from United States. I have been pretty career minded for some time so I need to come back into the fun realm again. I would desire a campanion to be able to make friends easily and fit into family or church get togethers as these are important activities to me and would be important to to you as well. I enjoy affection public and private but with proper respect to know the difference between what is acceptable and when. Courtesy and respect are top priorities for developing lasting relationships. A good sense of humor and easy smile are great attributes I admire along with good conversaton on numerous subjects. I enjoy quite times between my campanion and myself, and numerous type of activities, holding hands or just conversation with the right interesting person. I tend to be an extrovert and appreicate feeding off the other person and visa versa. I appreciate sensitivity, kindness, honesty, compassion and trusting someone enough that you can be tactfully truthful in sharing for either party. What do you like? If honesty, friendship, sensitity, compasson and someone that has a lot of heart to share is what you are looking for and would like to share in return, I would welcome a good conversation with you and let's see what happens from there.

Meet single man from United States. I've lived in Alaska most of my life. Just can't stay away. My family was from Western Washington and I spent time in Eastern Washington. My daughter is a newly wed and my parents and some of my siblings live in Alaska. Boating in saltwater is my favorite thing. Summer on the Kenai is awesome. I got a good look at Denali last fall and look forward to more this spring.
It seems my situation is common now. After the divorce, I'm looking for no drama. Relationships are complicated and nothing is flawless but now I'm cautious. This next chapter of my life is going to be a hoot. Is anybody heading this road? Let's go on adventures. Travel a bit. Have some laughs and fun. Anchorage is fun... let's meet for dinner and drinks. Workout? Explore B and B's. Travel, retire? Let's dress up nice a bit. I love a beauty on my arm. Don't get me wrong,I love sockeyes, halibut, moose, kings and all manner of dirty, wet cold Alaskan recreational adventures. I love the bush, southeast, interior and Anchorage. I'm comfortable all over the state. I've got some business opportunities coming up to explore.
So there it is, big fun on the horizon anybody interested? Drop me a line let's talk. I'd like to hear your story.

About me? I have my health, teeth and hair. If I was to classify myself, I guess it would be educated blue collar dude. My profession is white collar (education) but my interests and skills seem blue collar. I enjoy building and rebuilding things...boats, bikes, trucks, houses. My occupation is also fascinating and I can become engrossed in academic tasks also. I once wrote a HS text book for a virtual school about the History of Alaska... Beringia to the pipeline. Hardest job I ever had. I like adventure. In my youth I fought forest fires, worked in ski resorts, worked in the seismic industry (marine and land) sold automobiles.... on and on.

My situation has left me many options about life. It's a work in progress to schedule everything. In Northeastern Washington I own a 1906 farm house. It's not filled with antiques but it has some. My boat, truck and tools are stored in the Shop. The newest project I am involved with is traveling to Belize. Winters in Belize. Summers in Alaska and spring and fall in Washington seems doable. Lots of travel but still seems to work. There it is. I sometimes wonder whether this type of lifestyle is interesting to anyone but me....time will tell.
The company of women is very desirable. Though I adventure a bit I'm still looking for the one.
Thanks for reading

Meet someone special from Alaska, United States. Just a single mailman in Anchorage, AK looking for that one special woman who wants to get outside and enjoy hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, etc. If it developed into something more, that would be great!I'm looking for the perfect women, of course -- reasonably attractive, fit, funny, sympathtic, low maintenance, relaxed, no bad habits, willing to let me ramble on without getting the urge to strangle me in my sleep.. And: Likes: biking, hiking, bowling, travel, Las Vegas, California, cross-country skiing, movies, music, eating out, non-bitey dogs, spoiling good kids, sleeping late on those few days I can..

Date a man from Alaska, United States. I love to travel not only geographically but through a good book or conversation or even just perusing a map. I crave the experience of expanding my reality and trying to imagine ways of living other than the day to day of my own life. And then I like to settle down and appreciate what I've got, to build something with my hands, to engage in the immediate. I love to walk, whether a stroll around the block or an all day hike. I love my friends. I love to laugh.
I'd like to find someone who is warm and kind and curious and imaginative and intelligent and who loves to laugh and is willing to try new things while also knowing herself and being comfortable with who she is. I don't care if we agree on everything. The differences are as important as the similarities. I want someone who is affectionate. I'm not looking for a perfect beauty but I would like somebody who takes care of herself physically, intellectually, spiritually and emotionally. I want a friend as well as a lover.

Meet single man from Alaska, United States. Australian gypsy in Alaska - Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsular, via Sin Twitties, CA and Bozeman, Montana. I like to travel between Bozeman and Homer, Anchorage and Seattle and west-like, mountain-like places like that...
Younger looking than my years, wiser than I look with nice looking ears (so I've been told).
Established conventions are, well, just that: established... My karma may not be alligned with your dogma, but, I'm easy going and basically respectful. I think there are over 7 billion religions on this planet. What do you think?
Like to do my own thing and share with fun, honest, active, healthy and like-minded people.
