I don't have a specific thing that I am looking for. Just waiting for someone to catch my attention. I am attracted to those that think outside the box. For example, a guy that stops on the side of the road to hand pick me flowers is more likely to keep me around than the typical guy that stops at the florist to order a dozen roses. . I am outgoing and I love to laugh, so I want someone with a good sense of humor who hates drama and conflict as much as I do (seriously)! I am ready to live life to the fullest and would love to share it with someone who feels the same way.I want it all, unconditional love, trust, loyalty and commitment. Someone to laugh with, share adventure with and love with everything that I am. After finding out if there is CHEMISTRY between us (which is VERY important), I love getting to know someone and taking the time to find out what makes them who they are. My Mom always said that life began at 40. I am a believer. The kids are older and more self-sufficient. The desire to live and really experience life is born anew. When we are younger, we tend to take things for granted. Forty brings a new appreciation for life, the need to get out of the box and seek new adventures. Travel is a must. There is nothing like seeing new places, things, and meeting the locals. When I return from a trip, no matter how near or far, there's nothing quite like seeing my hometown with new eyes- eyes which have seen variety, bigger or even smaller places, and had a glimpse of life outside the box.
I enjoy reading, fishing, cooking out, spending time with friends and family, laughing, going out for a few drinks or sitting outside with a nice fire, wine tastings, and movies. I have varied tastes in music, but you can't go wrong with classics or anything upbeat.
Lets face it, genuine connections are sometimes hard to come by. I Love to talk, laugh, have fun, can be serious or silly, easy going and complicated, complex yet simple. After a lifetime of defining myself through others (yes, important others- my parents, siblings, my kids, and yes, the now ex-husband), I am rediscovering myself and enjoying the journey. I am a real person who can joke around with the best if them, but enjoys deep conversations as well. Life is an education, and we all have different perspectives and experiences that can complement and benefit each other.

. LIFE IS GOOD AND LAUGH!!!!! I Grew up in a family that LAUGHS ALOT! Love to joke around. Im serious about life, but I don't take life so seriously! My family taught me to deal with obstacles and rough times with laughter! I'm not looking for a "perfect man", because I'm not a perfect woman. We all have scars and I'm good with that. Hardest thing I've ever done is being a single mom! It has made me very independant and strong. Im driven to succeed. I LOVE my job as a surgical assistant in the medical feild - mostly because I love patient interaction and the blood and guts of surgery. Being outdoors is my favortie thing, wether at the ball feild watching kids play ball, hiking, watching the sunset, boating/sedoo-ing on the lake,THE BEACH!, simming, sunbathing, etc. you name it outdoors and I"m there. Don't watch much TV because I come in from work and want to spend time with my kids or go out to dinner with friends if it's not my weekend with the kids. I love to entertain in my home, good times with friends/family, especially spring/summer time and most definitly during football season, ROLL TIDE! Enjoy going to watch most any sporting event live - Alabama football (any baseball/football game). I'm looking for a guy who is FIRST AND FOREMOST - HONEST! After that, I want someone who is easy going, fun, enjoys life, laughing, trying new things, likes the outdoors, sports, sometimes vegging out on the front porch or chillin on the couch watching movies by the fire. I'd prefer a man who has been married and therefore knows the commitment of a marriage and the pain and difficulty of a divorce, or a widower who has lost the love of his life and is looking for someone to go share life with.
