. I am 40 years old. You're only as old as you feel...some days I feel 100, some days I feel 18 :) All of my kids' friends think I'm the "cool mom" which suits me just fine. I like to kick back and relax and have a good time, but I'm a hard working mom. I have 5 children ranging in age from newborn to 19. My kids are everything to me! I've been divorced for 1 1/2 years. I don't know that I could be in a relationship with someone who has never been married and never had kids. My reasoning for this is that I have been married for the better part of the last 24 years and I don't know that someone who has never been married would get me...same reasoning for kids. I have had kids for the last 19 years. Being a parent is a HUGE part of who I am. Someone who has never been a parent, I don't think would understand that. Not to mention, I don't see someone who has never had kids being interested in an instant family with 5 kids.
It sounds cliche, but I love a man with a good sense of humor. I love music (I play a few instruments...a musician would be AWESOME) and and I am a football fanatic (ROLL TIDE!!!!). I love watching any kind of football in person or on TV, doesn't matter. I want someone who is a hopeless romantic. I love getting flowers and being sung to (read above). Candlelight dinners and getting lost in each others eyes sounds like a beautiful night to me.
I have two college degrees and am working on my third and I have been at my current job for going on 9 years now. I'm a special ed teacher and I love my job most of the time.
