Anyway, I have lived in Birmingham for about ten years. I love Birmingham and the area I live in. I bought an older house about six years ago and have been fixing it up since then, so that has kept me busy. I moved here for law school after graduating from Auburn. (I also love Auburn so if you have a tat of Bear Bryant on your back, we’re probably not meant to be…sorry, no offense!!) After law school, I started a litigation job, but I recently made a move to an in-house position for a corporation so I have a lot more free time to do things and spend time with friends and family.
I like to have fun, try new things, and I love to laugh. A quick wit and a sarcastic sense of humor are definitely things that I like in a guy. Most weekends consist of going out for dinner/drinks with my friends on Friday and Saturday and then going to church on Sunday. I have a good mix of single and married friends and though I donРІР‚в„ўt feel uncomfortable going out alone with them, IРІР‚в„ўd love to find someone that could join in on the fun with me. In an effort for full disclosure, I should also probably tell you that I have three - yes, THREE – dogs. I realize that this makes me sound somewhat like a hoarder, but I promise I’m not. I just have a sister who’s a vet and I’m a sucker for rescue dogs. Plus, they’re all small so three small dogs equals one big dog, right?? My nieces and nephew are a big part of my life. When I'm not working I'm usually hanging out with my family or friends. I just started traveling last May and I realized how much of the world I have yet to see. It started with Spain- Barcelona and Sevilla. Now, I look into places I'd like to go, and I hope to always have a trip in the works from now on. Although I have much world travels ahead of me, I also enjoy a relaxing cruise to the Caribbean. I just booked my summer 2012 trip to europe w/ my sister!
I typically like guys who make me laugh and are personable/outgoing. Secondly I like taller men, with a decent style but definitely no affliction tshirts! I think chemistry is important... but a tall good-looking guy who makes me laugh is really what I'm looking for. You don't have to be the class clown or funniest guy to everyone else, but I'd say its more important that you are funny in my eyes... like when laying around together on a Sunday in bed. I guess the more thing I'm looking for is someone who makes me laugh just as much as I make them laugh.
All my friends know that my go- to move is mix tapes, aka mixed cd's. I love making them for people so they can get a taste of what I like. It's like a snapshot of music. I'm in the medical field and I never get too creative at work, but someday I think I will take a photography class and get a super nice camera... also because if I keep traveling I'm going to want to get some good prints of places I've been.
Soo that was kinda serious- lets cut to my list of likes: gummy bears, volleyball, college, game night, the bears, movies-pizza-bed (together- bed is really good on pizza you should try it), making up games with my nieces/nephew or being a human jungle gym, ice cold gatorade when hungover...this list is much longer but you'll have to get to know me to find out the really good stuff
dislikes: when people scrape their fork and knives on their plate, bad drivers, drama, Canadian tuxedos (unless I'm on a Canadian tuxedo barcrawl)
The last thing I will say is that I'm a happy person with a good outlook on life. Looking forward to meeting some cool slash hilarious people with big personalities. Oh and winks are weak... I'd rather get a message.

. Originally I am from upstate NY but moved to Northern VA about 10 years ago to finish my degree. I loved VA so much that I decided to stay until I recently received a promotion and have decided to try the South.
