Meet a woman from Alabama, United States. According to my friends, I’m “the Queen of Wii bowling, very thoughtful, hilarious, and a planner.” Let me clarify the planner thing. It’s not that every minute of my day is planned out or anything, but I do like to plan fun things for my friends and me to do. I always seem to be the one who’s taking care of the details. I just like to make sure everybody ends up having a good time.
I grew up in Pensacola, and spent a lot of hours watching Gator football and Braves games with my grandparents. I love watching SEC football. I enjoy going to pretty much any type of sporting event (although I donРІР‚в„ўt completely understand hockey yet). My dad and two of my uncles are coaches, so, as you can tell, sports has always been a big part of my life. Also, growing up near the water, I like to fish. My dad used to take me all the time. Although I havenРІР‚в„ўt really been able to fish much lately, itРІР‚в„ўs something I love to do when I get the opportunity.
I love music. Some of my current favorites are Ray LaMontagne, Amos Lee, and Donavon Frankenreiter. I've also been on an 80s kick lately. I like pretty much any type of music, or I’ll at least give it a listen. I enjoy live music, and I love going to Jimmy Buffett concerts (I’ve lost count of how many I’ve been to, but I know I’ve finished my fingers and started on toes). I don’t play any instruments (at least not well), but I’d love to learn how to play the guitar or drums. A drum set was always at the top of my Christmas list when I was little, guess Santa wasn’t a fan of that idea. I took a guitar class in college, but I haven’t really kept in practice. Maybe now would be a good time to dust off the good ol’ guitar and start playing again. (…if there’s anybody out there who’d like to give me guitar or drum lessons, I’ll be happy to provide the earplugs).
