Single, Divorced and looking. Now that my children will both be in college I think it is time that I turn my attention towards myself. Have been divorced for 15 years and have really dedicated my life to my children and work. Looking to get out and meet new people and see what happens.

I am independent when I want to be although not controlling....... Yes, I can use a hammer and fix things - but I don't always want to :) I'm honest and love to be around people who share the same values and morals. I love to dance, see live music - and love most types (no rap ) . However, I am not real fond of the bar scene or nightclubs. Going out with friends can be a good time but making a great meal and enjoying eachother's company at home or at a lake, or outside by the pool, may be the best choice. I want to take country dance lessons just for fun. I own two horses - One is my trail horse and one is my reining horse in whiich I started competing this year. Yep, never too late to live out that childhood dream! I have two dogs - German Shepard's ... I enjoy going to Lake Tahoe and have spent the past few years going to Northstar and Truckee area's mostly. I like to go in the winter to ski and snowshoe (alright, I have a pair of snowshoes - just have not used them yet). I like to be up there in the summer at the lakes, playing in the water, boating or riding wave runners as well as riding dirtbikes with my friends and daughters. Yes, girls can ride :) Camping is great fun and I have done it my whole life. However give me a nice hotel and room service and this girl is happy!.
I have three beautiful girls, two in the beginning years of college and one living part time with me (13yrs old). I have owed my own business for 19 years and loved what I did. I am now pursuing another interest as a Massage Therapist for people and horses. I am excited to see where that will take me. I enjoy yoga... I try to meditate :)... I mountain bike, hike and just love being outdoors. That's not to say a movie and cuddling on the couch is out of the question.... I love it! I love to travel .. especially out of the country, so far Italy seems to be where I am drawn and I keeping wanting to go back. However, Spain is next on the list.... Looks like I need to brush up on that Spanish..
Im looking for someone who loves to laugh, humor is a must.... what else gets you through life when it's rough...He has a way of making a woman feel safe and knows when to listen and not fix. :) Someone who is independent, knows himself, but is not arrogant. He needs to be trustworthy, and is able to show it through his actions. Actions speak louder than words. My thoughts on a realationiship is that there absolutely needs to be chemistry and the only way to find that out is to meet and from there to possibly hang out and hopefully become friends. I am looking for a caring man who has life experiences to bring to a relationship. Someone who can have fun and have the confidence to laugh at himself and know we are all "only human". I am a strong believer in " we are only as old are we feel". Along with my girls who keep me young at heart, I am active and choose to live in the moment which helps keep me grounded and loving life.
