Friends and family would describe me as dedicated, pretty easygoing, cooperative yet independent, focused, busy, strong/capable. I am happy to have travelled as much as I have. I am glad that I have been a professional symphony orchestra violinist, therefore a musician who has played world class literature, among others with specific high level training, while also having dabbled amidst all other venues of music. I can groove, rock, swing, do backup and unplugged just as easily as the high-brow stuff. I have remained a cultured, yet well-rounded and down-to-earth person who can mingle pretty well. I like chill-laxing at home during the summer right now. Things are different during the average school-year schedule for an instructor and a single parent, but simple pleasures might be to play board games with the endearing senior citizen neighbor across the street, or watch small amounts of MeTV with my son (it is dated and RETRO). I'm a natural in the kitchen and can fulfill most of my whims for creating something yummy whenever I want to. I have a piano that calls me every now and again and so being at home is nice. We are both morning people mostly. A six a.m. workout habit (or at least 4 days a week) has been important and practically necessary. We're good at taking what comes to us, for instance, my son was sick on Valentine's Day and so we had to stay home instead of going to school/work.
I might boast that I am debt-free. Fiscal responsibility/stability plays a major role in my upbringing and character. I have learned that I expect no less from key persons in my closest circles. I am calm and polite and admire and warm up to tones of voice and manners that don't bring overt attention to themselves. LOUD is much less attractive and just not for me.
