Date a woman from United States. I am enjoying this stage in my life. My children are becoming less dependent and I am finding a little more time for myself and some fun. I love to travel and think it is most important to find a partner with whom you enjoy spending time. Stimulating conversation, similar interests, and mutual respect are key elements in the relationship for which I am looking.
As I mentioned, I do still have 2 teenagers at home. Though they don't require my presence 24/7,due to the great support system we have, they are very much part of the package. I am really enjoying participating in their lives and watching as they grow into very unique individuals. I am not looking for a father for them, but someone who would accept them and the importance they have in my life. A man of good character that they also could respect and look up to. I don't want to wish these years away, but am looking toward that empty nest and the freedom that will offer.
I am active, health conscious and looking for my 50s to be the best years of my life (seriously!) I have recently rekindled the love I have for riding bikes (without a motor). I have people to ride with, so that's not an interest necessary to a relationship. But it would be a nice bonus if they also enjoyed riding. I am open to trying new things, as I am still discovering who I am. I don't think I would ever skydive, but it's okay if you do :)
I don't date just for fun, though I do like to have fun. If I don't think there is potential for a relationship, I won't continue to waste your time or mine. I don't need someone just to buy dinner. I have a nice career of 27 yrs, a stable job, my own home, and am not looking for someone to take care of me. Nor am I looking to take care of someone. A partnership would be ideal.
I am honest and direct (not rude) when needed. I don't like game players. I am not easily played, just don't care for it. Do unto others....well I'm sure you know the rest.
I am fairly old-fashioned in my feelings about gender roles. I do like to cook and am pretty good at it, I'm told. I have enjoyed hunting and fishing and would go again,with the right person. My feelings on most things are that with the right company, almost anything could be a good time. It doesn't always have to be what I want to do. I enjoy a lot of things so am pretty sure that we could find common ground.
