Date a woman from United States. Actually, I think I'm living in the Grand Illusion in thinking I will find someone - since my screen name implies, I am a 'dog mom' to 12 dogs -- I'm kinda like that middle aged woman, living in the 'dream trailer' with so many 'kids' she didn't know what to do (hope you get the nursery rhyme I'm referring to!)!! I've always loved animals but if anyone told me 20 years ago I'd have 12 pups I would have laughed my you know what off! But since moving here and seeing how there are so many irresponsible people by not having their pets spay or neutered, I felt I didn't have much of a choice since all the shelters are beyond full, but to keep (most of) them and trust me I did find homes for a lot of them (I lived in Taiwan for 2 years and brought 9 dogs back with me, still have 3 of them). I have a big heart, too big sometimes, but I've made a committment to them for the rest of their lives. (I'm a committment type person, to people and pets). Since I wasn't able to have the 2 legged version of kids, these are my kids and they have been here for me thru many troubled times, as they are here for me now (which a few are snoring right now!). Since I've been alone for a while, I've been getting involved in the local rescue shelters and helping to find homes for other dogs (mostly thru FB). It breaks my heart that there are so many unwanted pets and that people treat them like trash, it's so not right.
I love to travel and see things and go places, but it's kind of hard to do so - not impossible, just takes some planning. Wish I could be more spontaneous, but I can't right now. I love to entertain and party plan and have a good time. I think I'm funny, love to make people laugh - I want to meet someone that I have someting in common with and be able to talk to. I would love to skip the whole dating process and just find the one to live happliy ever after with! Sounds like a fairy tale, but instead of the glass slipper, I'm wearing the tall barn yard boot!! - I work out with weights and I eat clean and healthy and am really trying to get back in great shape (but really like my merlot, too!) - just got back from attending the Transformation Camp in Golden, CO with Bill Phillips at the end of May - also enjoy walks - love listening to the waves at the beach - but also love hiking the mountains - I love the 80's hard rock or big hair bands, yep, stuck in the past on that one! Love doing stuff outside but the bugs and humidity really get to me lately - esp the bugs!!! Aargh!
I don't need to go out to dinner all the time, prefer to cook at home and just hang out - really down to earth, just want to love, be loved and have fun and be at peace - It's hard to put everything in words, best to get to know one another -
So, who am I looking for? Besides a Prince or a Veternarian (HA!) - I just want an easy going, fun loving, animal loving person who likes to do something or just hang out at home and easy to talk to. I guess I'm old fashioned but I haven't worked outside of the home in 6 years so they (the 'kids') are used to having me here all the time and since most of them are afraid of t'storms, I'm glad I can be here for them. Had several good jobs in the clerical, admin and shipping positions but I prefer to stay at home and take care of my family, guess it's just the way I was brought up -
