Honest, dependable. I am very independant! Have good work ethic & one of my pet peeves is LAZY people. I am grateful for my friends & family! My friends would describe me as energetic, outgoing, someone that cares, I have been called a perfectionist... But I would not think that is quite accurate... I like to read, love hiking, love long walks on the beach!

What I do know is that I am independent, outgoing, successful, affectionate, love people, empathetic and compasionate, educated, divorced, a great mom (that's what my son says)a friend to many, honest, open, and try my best to be a good person. Date a soulmate from United States. I am a southern woman...raised in Mississippi and have lived here in Huntsvillle almost all of my adult life. I really love it here and this is home to us. I love my family. They are a source of endless joy for me and I love big family gatherings with lots of noise and good food and the dogs begging for just a scrap or two! I am a good cook and love to put together a great meal. I am a complete nut for Halloween and Christmas and love to decorate and make everthing really festive. I am a lover of tradition. My favorite thing to do on a weekend--or anytime really-- is take drives to just about anywhere. It doesn't have to be anywhere special...somewhere outdoors to explore or a little town I have never been to. I love to spend the day just driving and looking around, and then find a local restaurant and have dinner there. I am more of a casual restaurant person, but a nice place is good too sometimes. I am looking for someone to share moments like these. I have three children and they love me fiercely! Two are in college (one of them lives away) and one is still in high school. . I love cooking, traveling, fine dining and wine. My musical tastes vary depending on my mood. I love jazz on rainy Sunday mornings and rock and roll while I'm driving. Currently, I'm looking for friendship and companionship, but if something develops down the line, fantastic! I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys similar activities as me, is well educated, a gentleman, is financially and emotionally stable, and doesn't see family and the fact that I'm a widow as "baggage." . I'm the kind of person that is pretty run of the mill. Everyday I go to work, come home, do a few things around the house, excercise for a bit, get my shower and watch something on the T.V. until I fall asleep. Weekends are for the movies, dinner with friends, a walk on the Greenway with my dog, or getting a project done on the house!!! I've traveled around the world as a military wife and can be pretty independent if needed.
