I watch what I eat, and must work out regularly, practice yoga, snow ski, fly-fish, kayak, raft, golf, water ski, or I don't feel well mentally, spiritually, and physically. I have snow skied and fly-fished since I was a kid. I love water, and have recently taken up kayaking, and white-water rafting. I find god in nature, not in a church. Yoga has become a daily practice and has developed into a spiritual practice as well. I am constantly learning and am open to trying new things. On an average day when I am not skiing with my kids, I log about 18,000 vertical feet at Squaw in one day and will usually get 30 days of skiing in per year. When I fly-fish, I will often walk against current, and bushwhack working the river for 1-3 miles depending on the terrain or I might rig my raft and take off down the South Fork of the American, the Yuba, or the Klamath. My occupations in life have been varied; I am working now as a paralegal, but have worked in the past as ski patrol, fly-fishing guide, ski instructor, and production manager of the Telluride Times. Additionally, I was a professional watercolorist whose work has been published and shown in galleries in Santa Fe, Dallas, Beverly Hills, Scottsdale, and Vail. I am still a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, and the Transparent Watercolor Society.
