Meet someone special from United States. I recently retired from 30 years in banking and have relocated back to my 'home' town in Northern California. A lot of changes which are daunting, challenging, a bit scary but also liberating, exhilarating and exciting. I'm looking forward to this next stage of my life.
I love the outdoors and would love to travel through the United States taking the back roads off the beaten path and stopping to explore points of interest. I love Yosemite, the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore and would like to visit ALL of our natural parks.
I'm an early riser and love the mornings having my coffee and listening to the day break. A rooster crowing, birds chirping and a train whistle from afar. I love to read, sew and garden.
I'm looking for companionship, someone that shares similar interests, is a good person, knows how to treat a lady and can make me laugh.

Date a woman from United States. I consider myself to be an attractive, intelligent woman. I tend to be sincere, generous, sometimes serious, sometimes not, and nearly always sensitive to whomever I'm with. I'm also a good listener and conversationalist. I'm interested in people, animals (I have outdoor cats), healthy living, exercise, our environment, spirituality, art, cooking, music, movies, quality TV (usually the news or some educational channel), casual and fine dining, gardening, home improvement and learning new things. I like to dress up or dress down. I consider myself to be a fairly flexible person and I'm not afraid of change. I do my best to keep a positive attitude toward life. I'd like to meet a tall, attractive man with similar interests who also shares many of my values, i.e., honesty, integrity, the importance of humor in a relationship and respect for people in all walks of life. But most importantly, a man who can be a friend first, then a lover

Meet a soulmate from United States. I am a fun loving, woman that enjoys the company of a forward thinking man. I enjoy being in the world, staying current and not being stuck in a rut. Meet a woman from Alabama, United States. I am rather quiet. A good and loyal friend or partner. I like to read and play games on the computer. Don't watch much tv but it doesn't bother me. I lead a very quiet life. Recently separated after almost 30 years of marriage.

Date a soulmate from Alabama, United States. I grew up in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Lived many years in Pennsylvania then 4 years ago moved to California. I had lived here in the 60s and 70s so it was as if I had come home. That said, lots of changes here!
I have a good work ethic, am responsible and self supporting. I'm honest and loyal, and look forward to enjoying the company of a good man. Kind and considerate, well spoken, adventurous spirit, who can dress up or down - this applies to both of us. Dinners out or in; hiking/walking; and meeting new people. I'm a people person, extrovert and a deep thinker at the same time.
I’ve traveled a bit – east coast, islands off Cape Cod, Florida, North Carolina. Been to Italy a few times, Germany. But mostly I enjoy the creature comforts of home – gardening, yard work, walking the American River Canyon. Have explored only a bit of California this time around; would love to see your favorite spots.
I'm most grateful for my five kids, 3 live within a few hours' drive. Family is important to me; BUT they each have their own life. We went through a lot together, learning about life and each other along the way. My only grandson is a treasure!
When living on the east coast, I wrote history books - a great accomplishment. I have a passion for native cultures and the frontier days. Love history!
Currently I’m publishing books on self awareness, a niche market, but for the most part I'm retired. As Socrates wrote: “The unexamined life is not worth living”. When we’ve had an interesting and full life, we all acquire a few patterns (a more positive word than “baggage”). Some times we need to look at our past, then acknowledge it, put it to rest, and move on.
I'm looking for someone who has had an interesting and full life, with ups and downs, who has worked through some issues and learned about themselves and others. It helps if you are easy going and can sometimes laugh at yourself.
These profiles and this format are only openers, allowing a blind date. I’m up for that. I'm easy going and spontaneous – looking for friendship first, see if there is chemistry, and watch where it goes.

. I'm a positive person who loves life and keeps very active. I like to travel and am not afraid to take on something new. I'm a doer but also enjoy my quiet time. My ideal day starts with walking to get the paper with my dogs and cat. I have multiple house projects that I'm working on but find time to go to the gym and stop at a cafe for a scone and coffee. I enjoy walking the canyon trails and stopping by to chat with my friends.
