Specifically... My ideal guy SHOULD NOT:
-- Put money above family, friends or relationships.
-- Have to "party" or drink to enjoy himself.
-- Cringe when I mention the gym.
-- Have "personal baggage" so big to make my arms hurt after trying to help him offload it.
-- Be afraid to love and be 100% honest, no matter what, even if it "hurts"
But my ideal man SHOULD:
-- Laugh as often as possible. Hopefully he will do a wonderful job at making me laugh, too.
-- Love dogs.
-- Want to start a family within the next decade.
-- Love life and appreciate "the small things" because of how wonderful and precious they can be.
-- Like or have patience with my affinity for all things Sci-Fi and Fitness. Odd combo - I realize... Just roll with it.
-- Let me cook 99.999999% of the time. "Sorry, but pleas get the hell out of my kitchen!" :)
-- Like people watching as much as I do. Especially little old ladies who can't drive, out-of-town visitors who don't have a clue, or people in the gym wearing inappropriate wardrobes trying to "get their sweat on". :) People and pets make me laugh, among other things.
-- Love kids. They are amazing little people and I'd like to own one, someday.
-- Did I already mention honesty? Please don't bother if you can't keep reality from fiction... "Mm K?"
-- Love healthy food and human physiology. I'm talking about a TRUE appreciation for the physique and what it requires to obtain the best one. We are what we eat, so you should have a good grasp of what you are made of, and how important nutrition is to your mind, body and mood. You don't have to be as fanatical as me, but some sense and appreciation is important.
-- Love me for my drive and determination, but also be assertive as the man you are - unafraid to make me feel like a woman = beautiful and feminine.
-- Have a good relationship with family. Good with relationships, in general.
-- Be skilled in the bedroom. Yes, I said it, we are all adults here.
-- Be willing to wake up at sunrise to run the SBCC track (ocean view) or run along the Shoreline. ...it's the best way to begin the day.
Most importantly, my ideal guy should have a true desire to find his soul mate or deep partner in life. I'm not talking about LETS GET MARRIED TODAY (in fact, the "M" word makes me very nervous), but friendship and true deep relationship with someone you can trust and know will always have your back is equally as important as the physical chemistry. Yes, I do want to get married and raise a family, but first things first.
I'm "a keeper" but also pretty picky. After coming out of a long relationship, I'm looking to have fun and meet new people who share interests. Looking forward to seeing if we are compatible and to get to know you....

My new favorite activity is running. I did 2 half marathons this past year and I'm training for my next in a few months. Planning to run my first marathon this year too.
