I love to have fun, go out and 'play', but am very happy at home with a good movie (with popcorn of course!), tv or ??? Gotta love animals...can't ever see my life without them...mine are rescues. Family and friends mean the world to me, and I have some that are very protective...just sayin'. I never had my own children, but have 2 nieces (married with families) that I adore and am very close to. And, I'm "Aunt" to many of my friends children...and I love it!
I am friendly, sensitive, loyal, love to laugh, easy to cry, romantic, not comfortable in the spotlight (been there, done that).Crafting (quilting,crochet,etc) is my passion, it feeds my soul. Making quilts for Project Linus, Littlest Warrior quilts (babies of servicemen and women) and for wounded soldiers is part of that passion. I team up with friends in CA,TX and all over the U.S.A. in these endeavors.

I enjoy spectator sports. Dallas Cowboys are my professional team. USC my college team, but also love small town high school football...it's the best! I am down to earth, a country girl at heart, more comfy in jeans and tennis shoes...rarely dress up unless I have to...another been there, done that. LOL!!! Have had my heart broken too many times to count...but know that the right person is out there for me. Could it be you?
Love the mountains, don't ski. Love the ocean and walks on the beach, not a swimmer, sunbather or surfer. The sun is not my friend, but do like to do some outdoor things. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons...winter then summer. Country is my music, but I do enjoy most others...not fond of rap, hip hop or heavy metal. I love to dance, but can't follow worth a lick...growing up in the late 60's, we didn't do much of that. LOL. Some of the best times are with family and friends...I am blessed to have a great family and wonderful, caring, protective friends.
Born and raised in SoCal, lived in north central TX for 25 years, and found myself back here taking care of my elderly father for the past year, who we lost 5/8/12. Am staying on with my mother for a time...she's an active 88, but things need to settle before I decide where to 'land'...
We don't have to share the same interests, but some are good. You're athletic, me not so much, but I can sure support your choices, and you can support mine. That is what it's all about...not changing each other, but loving us for who we are.
