Date a soulmate from California, United States. My friends tell me that I'm a dynamo and I must confess that I have lots of energy and enthusiasm to venture onto new paths. My passion is dancing, but I also played many sports (now I'm mostly a spectator unless you want to engage in a moderate game of tennis). I've been in amateur theatre as an actress and singer/dancer so I have a healthy respect for theatre folk.
I grew up in upstate N.Y, lived in N.J., PA and Washington, D.C., then Phx. I spent the last 30 yrs. in Seattle. Having had enough of that climate to last a lifetime, I moved to CA last year in search of the sun. I have a great circle of friends, mostly dancers, but I would appreciate having that special person with whom I can share life's joys and sorrows. I am a people person but treasure the alone times as well. I thoroughly enjoy the antics of my 4 grandkids and will probably write a book some day about the totally hilarious things they say and do.
I'm part of a McGuires Sisters Act that performs for nursing homes and charity events...great fun bringing back the nostagic music of the 50's for those shut-ins who can identify with that music. I'm still working p/t as the Activities Coordinator for a senior housing complex which keeps me on my toes...love working with older folks. Would like anyaone who enjoys dancing, music, theatre, travel and grandkids and dogs.
I'd like to meet someone who has a passion for dancing as much as I do, but I realize that that's not all of life. Music is something I can't live without, especially Blues and Jazz. Of course, Latin music (esepcially Salsa) brings out the sensuality in me.
I thoughly enjoy intelligent, well-read men who have a great sense of humor and can make me burst into spontaneous laughterl I'm fairly grounded in my faith so I would prefer someone who would share his faith with me and be willing to attend church. I love to travel and sight-see but need to return to my own "nest" after awhile.
I have two married daughters and 4 grandchildren...I don't see them nearly as much as I would like, one family living about 2 hrs. away and the other family in Seattle....I do get to make periodic trip to the Pacific NW, especially during the hot summers here.
