Date a woman from United States. Age is relative. I am petite and healthy. Whatever I decide on doing I enjoy it with energy and appreciation. Living each day to its fullest is important as it is truly a gift. Being born and raised in a small town in Illinois provided me with a sound foundation of family values. Most of my friends tell me I am fun and adventuresome to which I have to agree. I could bore you with what other qualities I have but I would like for you to meet me and make those judgements for yourself. Even though I am a recent widow, I am independent and ask little of others. Honesty is important.
As you can imagine moving to California in 1966 was very exciting. Most of my life in California was spent in LaCanada where I worked and was able to further my education. The next move was to Ventura in 1980. It is here where I became a health educator.
I love to be involved with any social activity that is active and adventuresome. From the list below you will see my interests but I am open to others. Learning new skills keeps life interesting. My most enjoyable activity is ballroom dancing. It is fun, social and great exercise. If you can dance or would like to learn that would be a plus.
Traveling is exciting as I like to learn the history and culture of new places or countries. A few of the photos are from a recent trip. Traveling offers the opportunity to meet many interesting people to share experiences. Planning and researching for a trip is exciting as I like to find unusual sights to see. I am available to go any time.
Family is important. Both of my children are married and live with in the state of California. There are six grandchildren who I enjoy spending time with and we get together whenever possible for visits and special occasions.
What I am looking for is a man in my age range who is not needy but self assured and confident. One who is good health, active, and family orientated. Gentleman's manners are very important to me, and I like a man who can dress for the occasion and is neatly groomed. He should enjoy traveling, have a good sense of humor, and like to have fun. To me developing a friendship through honesty and trust is important before advancing to the next level of a relationship. Most of all I want to be happy which comes within and enjoy life to its fullest. What about You?
