Two years ago I left teaching to start a non-profit to inspire social entrepreneurship in kids. I love that my job doesn't feel like work.
I'm guilty of challenging people to dance-offs in my living room and although I've had many misadventures in the kitchen I cook a mean beef au poivre and killer brownies. Some weekends I can spend a whole day catching up on movies I've missed or be out hiking (any Torrey Pines fans?) and biking. I've never been one to turn down a road trip or say no to last minute travel. I get excited when I get personal mail in my mailbox and think fresh flowers brighten up a room. I light up at the thought of meeting a man who shares my passion for being in a partnership that celebrates being two wholes supporting one another...not two halves completing one another.

I can be impulsive but I think I balance it well with a bit of wisdom.
