Hello, I?m Jeremy. I would describe myself as a simple guy who?s pretty laid back and easy going. For the most part, I can enjoy doing just about anything. I like playing sports, going to the zoo, or just going for a run on the beach (and I?m not afraid to admit I even enjoy Disneyland once in awhile). I also love to travel, whether it is a ride up to Palomar Mountain or a trip to a foreign country.
I am originally from the Midwest and moved out to San Diego in junior high. I still consider both places home, but it is hard to compare any other place with America?s finest city. I love getting out and being active, and there aren?t too many other places you can do that year round.
I?m a loyal guy and my family and friends are very important to me. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. I believe it is important to be honest and have integrity. If you treat people right and try to see their point of view, then you can?t really go wrong.

Generally, I love social cooperative activities like team sports (co-ed football, softball, kickball), team trivia, and Rock Band. I firmly believe that teamwork-and-having-fun-is-more-important-than-win
ning, but that might be just because my teams usually win. I am ALWAYS up to do something that involves laughing, even if it's at my expense, which it often is. The likelihood that I will sing or dance among friends is only sometimes related to the amount of alcohol involved (I do a mean Carlton, but that DOES require alcohol).
I'm trying to learn the guitar, but I've been "trying" for about two years and I am terrible - I do it for me; I would never bring a guitar to a campfire.
I'll miss snowboarding, but I heard surfing is kinda like it, and it's definitely on my to-do list. UPDATE: I went, and the people that say this are dirty, dirty liars. But it's a hell of a lotta fun.
My tastes in entertainment run the gamut - some movies I like: Real Genius, The Usual Suspects, the Fantastic Mr. Fox, Amelie, and Lost in Translation.
For music I like just about anything - from rock to girl pop, classical to electro house. And Jonathan Coulton. I celebrate the guy's entire catalog. I'm trying to learn the guitar, but I've been "trying" for about two years and I am terrible - don't worry, I would never bring a guitar to a campfire.
As for what I'm looking for, I'm looking for the girl that can laugh at herself and me, hold her own in a conversation, is fine doing her own thing once in a while, and appreciates that I'm a pretty awesome catch.

Seriously, how likely would Sheldon, Leonard, Walowitz, Raj or any of the other very one dimensional personalities found on Big Bang Theory garner such a prestigious view? :) While I wouldn't claim the ability to fully grasp the nuiances of string theory, the inner workings of a black hole nor the concept of time as a fourth dimension I do find that subject matter very intriguing. Not too unlike the high value I currently place on the energetic teachings and spiritual mindfulness of yogis. I am interested in culture and food. More emphasis on the food part... I love my dog and my family. I ferociously protect those that can not do so for themselves. I am a friend. I am a lover. I actively make efforts to remove fear from my life. Letting go is something that I find difficult but consider it an important excercise. I am career orientated and often seek approval from my scientific peers. Occassionally labeled an overachiever. 1. She must have inner happiness, it is so important to me that the woman I am with is in love with life (No one wants to go home to a bitter person).
2. She must be looking to get married and have kids with in 3 years (My mother is getting older and she has no grand kids)
3. She must have at least a university degree (or seriously be working on attaining one)
4. She must be 28 or older (Women tend to change a lot between 18 and 28)
5. She must be 33 or younger
6. She must be sexy (When I look at her I want to think she is erotic, and not just beautiful)
7. She must have good wife skills (cook a little, run a house hold, raise kids, ect…)

A little about my self:
I was married for 6 years and got divorced 18 months ago. I had a wonderful marriage, it just did not last.
My business partner and I own a few bar/restaurants in San Diego. This a very unstable industry so are business is currently diversifying in to real estate for greater long term stability.
I have had a large number of adventures, any where from delivering children to going to Egypt for there revolution. I have no regrets in leaving behind the life of a single man there are no tasks I have left unfinished. I know that the new adventures in life will be as a husband and father.
I am extremely self confident and opinionated, but am able to admit my mistakes and change my actions when given clear evidence that I am wrong.
