I returned in September 2011 from a voluntary 6 month tour over in Afghanistan as a photographer with THE United States Air Force reserves. Yes, they have photographers in the military. No, I am not going back anytime soon. I have a greater chance of finding love on here than going back there.
Now, let me tell you a few TRUE tidbits about me, that I hope are entertaining yet informative, so you may be enticed to message me.
I make my bed almost daily and I sleep under a comforter with the University of Michigan block M on it, during the winter.
At times I have conversations in my sleep to the point where women think I'm talking to them. "You want a meatball sandwich now!? Who you talking too?"
I am the oldest and tallest of 4 siblings. I once spent time in jail when I was 17 for a few hours. I eat a lot of cereal and only drink skim or fat free milk.
I am not monetary or personal possesion motivated. I grew up poor so I live a simple life which sadly, may turn off OC females. I am genuine, big hearted and funny, with a healthy dose of sarcasm and boldness mixed in.
I spent the first 22 years of my life growing up in Michigan, till I joined the Air Force in 98 which led me to California. I'm living in the state I always wanted to since high school.
I did five years in active duty and now proudly serve as a reservist going on 14 years of combined service so far. My monday through friday job is with Canon U.S.A.
A car once hit me on my bike when I was a teenager and I walked away with just scratches, but the guy driving the car, died a few months later..IRONYYYYY!!!

Here are a few things that bring a smile to my face: Morning coffee, ESPN and sports, nice calves on a women, sarcasm and witty humor, free flowing traffic, a well written movie with a great score, cereal (if you didn't catch it the first time), dusk and dawn, driving, writing, kissing, Dos Equis Amber, grilling, going to bed early, Michigan football and the phrase "That’s what she said."
Here are a few things that bring a upside down smile to my face: The phrases "Really?", "Who does that?" and the term "foodie" (so if I poop alot, can I call myself a poopie? Food for thought, and pun was inteneded.), traffic, most reality shows, hangovers, undisciplined dogs and kids, itchy fabric, loud cell phone talkers, skinny jeans, boredom, and non-twist off beer bottles.
So what kind of girl entices me? A physically fit women, not afraid to sweat it out in the gym, even lift weights. They hold interests in sports, or at least know the difference between a first down and a three point shot. But, if your only interest extends because your favorite team has pretty uniforms OR your sister hooked up with the place kicker, S to the H, to the I, to the T, talking might take place.
I'm attracted to women who are assertive, not afraid to speak up, say what they mean and mean what you say, but don't be a female dog about it. I'm not a big fan of women who expect mind readers. Keep the guessing games to Milton Bradley. Be able to express affection and posses the gumption to compliment. If I can, so should you.
I appreciate a humble, grounded woman who doesn’t take anything OR anyone for granted. I hope they have a sense of humor, wit, sarcasm, and they prefer "Family Guy" over "The Bachelor," but I know that could be a stretch because women love their "Bachelor." But, the bottom line is, if their isn't a tingle in the dingle, it's hard to mingle.

Meet single man from United States. Whoa whoa whoa..…an essay about myself?!?! Time for the interview process. Haha. Hhmmm… going to be a tough one ..….but let’s give this a try.
Easygoing, a constant joker and can be pretty sarcastic, and love the company of friends and family *people I can always rely on*. I'm a huge Lakers and Dodgers fan so going to a game is a plus, concerts or improvs, a foodie =] *love to eat*, and would definitely love to travel more. I love going to movies to see the latest flicks or just a simple netflix at home. But really, I'm flexible with large crowds or even something simple with just the 2 of us. I’m not picky at what I do. I can be serious when I need to be, but the majority of the time I’m pretty easygoing and enjoy the moment.
As for what I'm looking for: a sense of humor is a must, someone I am able to talk to with my problems or issues that happens throughout the day, wants to travel, sports venues, and loves food. I was told to re-write my "about me" section by a friend of mine. She claims my previous "about me" section did not capture my witty demeanor, my boyish charm, and my playful personality, so here goes. (Fortunately, she informed me my pictures properly captured my rugged Daniel Craig look; so that section has remained un-changed)
As you can see from my profile, I live in Huntington Beach. I actually live a few blocks from the pier down here and I absolutely love it. Not to worry though, I don’t have a single Ed Hardy shirt and I speak in complete sentences. I've been working on learning to surf but I usually just sit outside the break and relax.
I don't watch much TV, (in fact I just cancelled my cable) but I love going to the movies. I also really enjoy standup comics and live music. I recently went up the Laugh Factory in Hollywood and Dane Cook randomly took the stage. I was never a big fan of his in the past but after watching him perform, I have to tell you that he's really funny.
I try not to take myself too seriously but that doesn’t mean I'm not goal oriented and ambitious. I have a great job that I love which allows me to travel all over the world. This has allowed me to rack up quite a few rewards points; all I need now is someone to use them on. I also love weekend drive away vacations. Vegas, Palm Springs, Napa, etc are how I try to spend all my free weekends. Therefore, I need to be with someone who's willing to take a call at 3:00 pm on a Friday afternoon and be on the road with me by 6:00.
I also like being active; I played baseball in college (go Huskies...sorry Trojans) and for a few years in the minor leagues with the Rockies. I play beach volleyball, run, workout, etc. I'm also getting ready for the Ragnar Relay which should be fun.
As far as what I am looking for, I like a girl that is smart (intelligence is important), confident (which is super important), and fun. Someone that could enjoy doing anything from going out for drinks on the town, to dancing, to going to a movie, or just staying in, watching Hoarders (crazy show), and cooking dinner together. Also, someone that can be immediately comfortable with a group of complete strangers (and trust me to do the same).
That's the best way I can describe what I am looking for, sorry if it is not the best description, but it is a very difficult thing to define. Though he was referring to something a little more controversial, I think the theory is applicable to this situation. Regardless, I feel as though I have a lot to offer in a relationship :)
