Despite what seems like a lack of free time, I enjoy pretty much anything that causes you to think, compete, use sunscreen, call a cab, take a flight/boat/helicopter, and sing the national anthem.
I come from a large family in Boston, MA,moved to Florida, attended The Florida State University where I played football Americano:). After school I worked for a large engineering firm which allowed me to move to Sacramento to be closer to my parents and sisters/nieces. I have been an entrepreneur for just over two years now and love it. It is more stressful but also more rewarding.
My best friend is getting married in the Keys this winter so my focus outside of work is to get back into great shape. I am focused on my fitness right now but can still enjoy a beer at a Giants game for sure.I am pretty easy to please. I enjoy fine dining, or grabbing take-out but would rather have a home cooked meal. I'm a big fan of red wine and love hitting the wineries in the springtime (hell, who are we kidding, if its open I am ready). Concerts and comedy clubs are some of my favorite weekend activities. I would say I am more of a "dive" bar type but it really doesnt matter where I go as long as there is fun involved. I love movies, some of my favorites include Braveheart, Wedding Crashers, Count of Monte Cristo and Caddyshack just to name a few. When it comes to music I love it all.
Travel and financial independence is the reason I work so hard. I cannot think of a better result of all this work then to be able to travel freely and not worry about bills. I have a passion for meeting new people in other countries and I try like heck to attend the Olympics every 4 years. There is no better way to meet people from all over the world than attending the Olympics. You get to cheer for your country and learn about other cultures all at the same time.
Who I am looking for...I would like to think that by 34 years old I have grown out of thinking there is a "type" of woman I am looking for. Some of the values and traits I am looking for include someone who: loves travel, can put up with sports (bonus if they actually like to play them), loves to laugh and make others smile, is good with kids, ambitious, and DRAMA FREE! I can say with 100% certainty that I would rather be single than to date someone who thrives on negativity and drama.

There is a lightning storm happening right now and its the coolest thing. 230 AM, Sunday night, my daughters tucked away in bed and I can't sleep. The thunder rolls in the distance (Garth Brooks reference), the horses are spooked and the country is alive with the animals responding to the unusual weather. I feel full of life and happy to be a participant in this world. I am excited to see what Gods plans are for me tomorrow and whom I may meet on the journey. I figured somehting out no too long ago. Im by no means perfect, and thats exactly the type of person I'm looking for. I realized that even though things may not be the way that I want them, as long as I'm growing in my relationship with Jesus, nurturing my daughter and raising her with values and morals that I was introduced to through faith, and open to go wherever and do whatever God leads me to do, I will find happiness and peace.
I have not always been happy, I've had some challenging things happen in my life, and I was an active participant... All I can do is look at my part in it, because thats the only thing I can change, repent if necessary, and move on.
