My analog is a pet rock. I have the fortitude and strength to hold ground and not be affected by the little things that could chip softer material. On the other hand, I can wear many guises; some goofy, others classic. My visage can change but the bulk composition cannot. I can tumble and roll in the mud outdoors but with a little bit of cleanup I can look more than presentable. With a little polish, you can see all the detail where the grains meet, a juxtaposition of experience which molds my shape. I listen very carefully even if my opinions are set in stone. I may be blocking your path and the same time I could give you a foothold to look just a little further. Once set in motion, I tend to find the easiest path sometimes accelerating but difficult to deflect. Trying to change this path may cause injury. The best way to get to know me is to observe, touch and try to crack. I can be cuddled without objection yet most coats don't cling for long. I am always there even if I can't just roll over to you at the moment. I may seem cold to the core at first, but I warm up with the slightest bit of attention. There is an air of mystery around where I came from, what I did in my past, but the future is certain.
