I am an active-duty officer in the Army; I fly medical evacuation helicopters. Graduating flight school is one of my proudest accomplishments, and I love the work. Much of my social circle day to day is other Soldiers but I have friends all over California and visit them regularly, especially in the San Diego area.
I love to brew beer and am considering it as a career after the Army. Anything related to beer, wine, liquor, and cooking is a topic of fascination to me.
I have a Jewish background but consider myself an agnostic rationalist for practical purposes. I consider learning to be an essential lifelong obligation and I love being exposed to new ideas.
I love nature, and am comfortable with animals ranging from mice to horses in size (reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates included!)
