I'm originally from Texas, finished my BS in electrical engineering, and worked as a software engineer before deciding that I wanted to go to grad school in California to follow my passions for new media and computer music. I finished a MS in Media Arts and Technology and am currently working towards a PhD in the same field while freelancing as a software developer.
When I'm not working I like to keep moving- specifically inline speed skating, cycling, running, hiking, motorcycling, camping, kayaking, yoga, swimming, snowboarding, and cross country (skate) skiing. I compete regularly in inline speed skating marathons.
