Date someone special from Irvine, United States. I am new to CA and excited for new opportunities and to see what it has to offer. My dad was in the Army so I am not really from anywhere but have had the opportunity to live in many different places. I went to High School in Heidelberg, Germany and I loved it. I have been in Kentucky the past 11 years and just moved here for a job. I'd like to consider myself a gentleman or least try to be one. My dad grew up in Mississippi and tried to instill his southern values in me. I say yes ma'am and sir, even if you aren't old. :)
I love to travel. I have been fortunate enough to have been able to travel all over the world. I have been to places like Egypt, Ireland, Northern Ireland, France, Switzerland, and Czech Republic just to name a few. Unfortunately I haven't been anywhere lately unless you consider my drive out west. The drive was great because I have never been out west so it was great to finally see the Rockies and new states (I don't recommend Kansas).
I love music. I like all types of music although I'm not a huge county fan, but there are some songs I like. Some of my favorites are Jack Johnson, The Fray, Counting Crows, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biggie, and hip hop in general. I even enjoy listening to people playing the drums on the beach. People who can play the buckets amaze me!
I love watching movies although I am not a horror fan. I love comedy films. Anything with Will Ferrel or Vince Vaughn! I'm also really into war movies. I don't know if its because I grew up around the Army but I have always liked them. As far as TV, I like The Office, I liked Lost until it ended, and Entourage. Overall, I don't watch many TV shows. I'd rather watch a good mini series (Band of Brothers) or a movie.
I really like playing board games. There's nothing better than to get some friends over and have a few beers or glasses of wine and play games. I'm competitive too so I like the challenges.
I love sports except I'm not the biggest baseball fan, it can bore me. I do enjoy going to a game every now and then but I'd much rather go to a hockey game. Hockey is by far my favorite sport.
I don't think there is anything better in life than laughter. I laugh all the time and a lot of the time its at myself. I definitely am looking for someone with a sense of humor.
I'm always down for going to new places and trying new things. I love to eat!
What I'm looking for in a girl is someone with common interests. Honestly, my best friend. Someone who wants to go and do things together and someone who likes to laugh. I'm looking for someone who likes to go out occasionally but also likes to spend time at home, watching a movie or hanging out together. Someone who is thoughtful and courteous is big for me. Sometimes I can be a hopeless romantic but can laugh about it when things go horribly wrong.
I am quickly discovering that I am terrible at ice breaking emails. I definitely have a lot more to talk and joke about when I know someone a little more. :)
