I grew up in Modesto, moved away to go to college, and have lived all around the state since then (LA to the bay, back to SoCal, back to the bay and so on...). I never thought I would wind up back here but, what do you know, that is where life has led me, and I'm happy being back home. I am in a good place in my life, with a good job, nice apartment, good friends, and all of that kind of stuff. I have a big family (none of those kids in my pictures are mine, there are a lot of kids in the family), most of whom are around this area, and two amazing Goddaughters.
I love sports, especially the Giants, and try to go to as many games as I can. You having at least a passing interest in sports would be pretty much a must. I like off color jokes, and I think sarcasm is the highest form of wit. My friends say I'm a great story teller and I do often find myself doing this at parties, surrounded by people either laughing with me or at me, but either way they are laughing. I like just hanging out with good friends or seeking adventures. I enjoy traveling, and would probably do more of it if I had a good traveling companion. I love my job but until recently it had caused me to move around a lot and not really allowed me to put down a lot of roots (which has it pluses and minuses).
I pride myself on being a wealth of useless information. One of my life's ambitions is to be a contestant on Jeopardy! I have taken the test several times and I think I came pretty close to passing it last time. I will challenge anybody to a game of Trivial Pursuit. I like a good and smart movie and/or TV show. I work in politics and like it as a sport (more so than being passionate about issues and such).
I'm pretty sure this match.com thing could work since my best friend just got engaged to a girl that he met on here... plus she claims she doesn't understand how I'm single... so I figured I would give it a shot.
