Date a soulmate from United States. I'm new to this site and would just like to give it a try and see what will happen. I'm looking to meet someone who is outside of my current network of friends, especially someone who is genuine, caring, family oriented, and have intention to have a family one day in the future. I have been told that I'm a friendly, easy going, and a down to earth type of person. I love exploring, learning, and trying new things. I'm a single Chinese-American, currently living and working in east bay. Just a brief description about me: I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in the bay area since I was 13, college educated, caring, hardworking, reliable, have a stable job, don't smoke/drink and no drug. I enjoy reading, music, movies, and running in my spare time...
Meet single man from United States. I'm a cancer. I have a tough outer shell, but really I'm a softy inside. If i'm hanging out with my family I'm the life of the party. I'm originally from Minnesota, so I do have good mid western values. I love how close I am with my family even though their thousands of miles away.
I have a very demanding job. I have been known to work long hours. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I am very stubborn in business and always believe we can achieve our goals with persistency and hard work. I have been very fortunate in life, but i'm really just a down to earth guy. I'm happy with where Im at right now at this time, the only thing missing is someone special to be around in our spare time.
Date a man from United States. I have a good sense of humor, which is often a little sarcastic or obscure. I'm pretty rational and levelheaded and I don't get angry that often. I was also told growing up that I was mature for my age. I enjoy hanging out with friends but am also pretty self-reliant and comfortable being alone.
Honestly, I think I have a lot to offer. I have a good education. I consider myself smart and well-read, not necessarily with a lot of classic literature, but I know a lot of facts and trivia. I think I'd do pretty well on Jeopardy for example. I'm ambitious and enjoy my career. I have my own place. I have a car. I'm relatively young. I'm tall. I'm in good shape. I don't smoke. I have all my hair. I'm considerate and funny. I have good friends and a good relationship with my family.... What more could you want from a guy? Maybe it's weird to just lay everything out there like that, but this is what you get when you ask an engineer to describe himself. :)
I'd like to meet a girl who is non-cynical and fun to spend time with, has a positive attitude in general, is smart, confident, independent, sincere, and doesn't take everything too seriously. Intelligence is definitely important in the long run. It's nice to be able to talk about topics other than just the latest reality show.
I like it when a girl does something to show that she cares enough to put some effort into a relationship. For example, if she tells a funny story all on her own without me having to lead the entire conversation, or if she sends a nice email in the middle of the workday just to say hi, or if she suggests ideas for dates occasionally instead of always relying on the guy to do the planning. Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly capable of having a conversation and planning a date, but I also appreciate positive feedback and interactivity. :)
One more thing. Girls who live in San Francisco: if you only want to meet guys who live in the city, please reduce your desired radius to 5 miles or so just to save us both some time. :)
