Date single man from California, United States. I am a professional Art educator( college level) with a small international reputation in ceramic art. I really enjoy what I do. I am a physical person but like to think of ways to make things I do easier. I try to maintain a good fitness level and will stay that way as long as my body and mind will permit. I am also an active University track coach and work at that three afternoons a week. I am healthy, exercise regularily, still enjoy competition in Track and Field, traveling internationally to do so when I have the time and fitness level necessary.. I have a large art studio but do not approach my art from a commercial position. I do selected commission work but only if the proposal interests me. I am very independent , always allowing my mind to lead me to new projects. I make things to communicate feelings I have about events in my life. I also enjoy getting the approval of those that view my efforts. I have no debt . I enjoy occasional visits with my daughter and her family. It is way fun to meet new folks and their families. People are wonderful, I never tire of learning. I find myself creating short fiction in the evenings prior to reading. I also write poetry, mostly to illustrate beauty as I see it go by. My attraction to fit, natural women, is very strong. Skin color and ethnicity are unimportant to me as is age. My late wife was of mixed races. I enjoy the presence of women of all ages if they present themselves well. The most important thing a potential partner would have is a strong self concept. Being happy with who you are today and not regressing to another time is very important. What we are now is now. I do not want to rescue anyone nor to be taken care of. Making decisions together is very important. A potential partner would need to be self supporting and able to live within her financial capabilities. She would be fit and happy with herself. Discussions are great , arguing for the sake of confrontation I can do without. Responsibility for home and garden can be shared. I have a lot of room for sharing.My art studio is large, messy, but organized to my taste. I clean it when it needs it. Of course, that is relative to who is looking. It is not off limits to someone who can deal with the apparent chaos. There is a large communal group that uses the space on an irregular basis. I enjoy comunity .I grow a large garden and try to save much of what I cannot eat fresh. I freeze, dry, and can . A partners interest in what I enjoy would be great but not a necessity. Hopefully I would be interested in what she likes also. I heat my homes with wood, I cut it myself, It is great exercise. I like company and never turn a helping hand away. In my next life I want to be a musician. I practice regularly just in case there is some carry-over. I have always wanted to own a produce market.
