Date single man from United States. MY wife has been deceased for over two years, so I am a person who is recovering from the loss of his life. I met my wife at the early age of 19 and stayed married for 49 years. However, I feel that I am ready to move on with what remains of my life. Although I am mending a broken heart, I have plenty of room for another person. You would be a person who knows how to be patient with me as I struggle to get back on to the treadmill of life.
A small bit of personal Information: I retired from the military, but I have been out longer than I was in, and also retired from work as a civilian.
At my advanced age, I have joined a music group to learn how to play a guitar and piano. We performed at the Pomona fair as well as the senior citizen centers in the San Fernando Valley. I would hope you would be a person who appreciates the sound of Mexican music as well as other types of music.
You would be a person who loves to listen to oldies-but-goodies, blues, smooth jazz and country/western (classic), classical music by
Beethoven, Strauss, and all of the other masters of classical music. You would be a person who does not mind having the car door opened for you and who likes to dine out with respect and dignity. You would would be a person who loves to attend mass in a Catholic church of your choice. You would be a person who also likes to go to movies, the kind of movie that will make you laugh out loud, make you sigh, and at the end of the movie, you would say, "now that was a good movie". You would be a person who enjoys a good book once in a while. You would be a person who loves to make conversation regardless what the topic is. You would be a person who likes to do volunteer work because I enjoy the time that I volunteer at the local hospital twice a week.
I am very comfortable in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but also like to dress up in a suit and tie or a tux when the occasion arises.
TRAVEL - I suppose everyone wishes they could travel and see the world in the time we have on earth. However, I still have responsibilities where I live. Although my time and devotion would be for my significant other, whom ever you are, other persons have requirements of me as well. I am not talking just family either. I suppose this will disqualify me from meeting 99% of good women "out there", but world travel is not in my immediate future.
The heading of this block is "describe yourself and YOUR PERFECT MATCH." All of what I have written is a perfect match, but we do not live in a perfect world. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. So, it would not be by accident when we meet. To me, the idea is to come close to what is perfect and see where it leads us.
