I love weekend trips, heading to the beach or being outside when it is warm, experiencing new things, and trying new restaurants. I stay in shape by running, hiking, playing tennis, and going to the gym a few times a week. I grew up in Manhattan, but sold my business (restaurants) and moved to SD back in 2000. If I go out for drinks, I am more likely to go to "Happy Hour" than stay out late night. I like to travel when time permits, but I am more of a "hotel with a bed and bathroom" kind of guy (Palm Desert, NYC, Dublin...that sort of thing), than a "roughing it and feeding the wild monkeys in the rainforest" kind of guy (not that there is anything wrong with that if that's what you're into).
I eat pretty healthy, I am athletic, and I am in good physical (and mental) shape. I'm educated and have a career where I get to travel a little, but still have a lot of free time. I have a lot of acquaintances, a few close friends, a nice family (back on the East Coast - don't worry, not next door), and live alone in a house near Dog Beach in Del Mar. Hopefully, "you" will think that I have a pretty good sense of humor and have my act together. I think I have a comfortable life free from drama. I promise you there will be NO surprises if you meet me...I really am 46, but as far as height is concerned, I am actually six foot one half inch (Match does not have a one half inch option, so I figured it would be better to understate than overstate).
