So with that preamble, here is my quick sketch of who I am: I am intelligent and along with that curious about most everything. I want to be constantly learning and growing as a person. I am honest, communicative, the kind of person who prefers to talk through a problem preferably with someone whose point of view I respect and trust. I have, I believe, a good sense of humor and hope you think so too. Physically I am in great shape due to both good inherited genes (thank you mom and dad) and regular workouts at the local gym. But now it is time for me to do other things, so I have wound down my consulting practice and would now describe myself as being semi-retired. While I still do take on an interesting consulting project now and again, I am primarily focused on what I want to do in this next new phase of my life. One thing for sure is to travel more. In 2010 I spent almost a month wandering around Europe spending the last week in Paris for my first ever visit there. What a great city. Last year was a return to Maui after way too many years and this year it is back to NYC and DC. I am also a reasonably serious collector of fine art. Enough so that I have run out of wall space in my house.
I have been fortunate to have been in a couple of serious relationships over the last several years.
