I am a Real Estate Broker, so my time is quite flexible. I would like doing more things with my daughters, but I understand they have their own lives and can't hang with Dad all the time.
I admit to loving a good bottle of (Riesling) wine(you can have the red stuff!), cooking is relaxing to me, and I like my cooking even though my waistline doesn't. My girls and I agree that I am not super photogenic, so take a look at my "newer" photos from 12-06 thru 06-11(I need new and better ones!), others from early 06 to late 04, and if you think I might be worth at least talking with, let's go for it! If you have been doing this long enough, you probably know most people do look different than a dime-size photo, probably ARE somewhat different than their essays, but sometimes we do have a positive surprise, and might make a new friend if nothing more.

Here's a brief chronology: born and raised in a suburb of Chicago (til age 10), used to spend summers on a farm in Iowa with relatives (wonderful experience), survived attending Catholic school, lived in Sacramento through age 18 (graduated from Jesuit High School), spent a little less than 3 years in the U.S. Army (fortunately did not have to go to Viet Nam, believe that war was wrong and unnecessary; just as the war against Iraq was), hustled through Sac. State in 3 years (earning a B.A.), earned a law degree, worked for the State of California as an Investigator for 30 years, lived in Europe (1 yr. in the Army, several years later spent 1 yr. backpacking throughout), traveled throughout South America for 3 months, traveled in Canada a few times (especially the Maritime Provinces) and Mexico, have visited most of the U.S. States, lived in San Francisco and in the East Bay for several years; was married to a special lady (who was/is beautiful inside and out) for 23 years; have 2 wonderful sons (age 28 and 23), who are healthy, loving and bright; retired from being an Investigator, since then I became a Hospice Volunteer and a volunteer for The Society For The Blind. I was a high school basketball official for several years; I sometimes sing in a mens' chorus.... and, everything else I will tell you when we meet and get to know each other - I'm looking forward to it.
