Meet people from California, United States. Being new to this site I didn’t spend as much time on this part of my Bio as I should have so here is an update to get a better view of me.
By spending time on this site I am hoping to find someone who can match my Bio in as many ways possible to eliminate our road of life from making a sudden left turn while I am still headed forward. Whether you’re breaking up or being broken up with either side of the fence hurts and that is why I have not dated or been with anybody for 4 or 5 years. It seems time is in warp speed now. My 7 day week goes faster than my 2 day weekend went when I worked.
I am looking for friendship first so we have a chance getting to know each other’s personalities, sense of humor, likes and dislikes Etc. I feel that is needed in order to build a solid, strong foundation for love and trust.
I have been retired for 11 years after 34 years with a local company, 13 as an outside worker, 17 as plant engineer and 4 as department manager. I am financially secure, own my home, and know what I want out of my life and what I hope to find in a mate. Speaking of Mate, I look at life as being on an old time Sailing Ship. There can only be one Captain on board but the Captain cannot sail the ship by himself. To be successful he needs a good First Mate and Crew but do not forget the captain is responsible for the safety and welfare of all on board, the direction it’s headed, staying away from storms and rough waters.
I love to laugh it is medicine for the sole. Some friends of mine have a different, sense of humor (DRY) and I like playing off that to keep the L.O.L. going for a while. I also have serious side that does a lot of thinking and believes you can lie and deceive anybody EXCEPT the one looking back in the mirror and I face him every day.
As long as I am being honest, one thing this site does not cover is health problems, you would find out shortly any way. I have been type 1 diabetic for 39 years thank you Agent Orange.
