I decided after over forty years of chasing the carrot, getting a better grasp on life might be a better goal. That explains my choice of Marvin the Martian on my bowling ball I use to shoot spares. One cannot be too serious about a game involving a heavy round object, rolled at ten pins that can go willy-nilly, and stare at a cartoon character before you throw the ball. Best part is the fun I am starting to have letting life come to me rather than trying to "make" my life come to me. Romantic, passionate, affectionate, spontaneous, adventuresome, but not to the point of jumping out of an airplane or tying rubber bands to my feet. But, I would like to fly a real airplane. Quiet evenings at home are always a plus, too.
I would like to share life with someone who is affectionate without smothering, passionate, loyal, honest, able to stand up for herself, spontaneous, sociable, adventuresome, takes an interest in her partners passions/hobbies including sharing them with him as I will with hers. Although I have an active lifestyle, I enjoy downtime at home. The garden is good therapy. A child of the sixties, I am not a sterotypical hippie, nor a red-neck. I traveled all over the world in the Army and as a civilian. A trip to Thailand next year to see a brother who is needing a visit is planned. I would love to share that adventure. A drive to nowhere in particular locally is one of my favorite things to do. In almost thirty years in the Sacramento Area, I have found a lot of places to go and things to see. A visit to the North Coast where I grew up could last two weeks and you would never see a day's destination twice. Plus the spontaneous, nowhere in particular Road Trip is a couple of packed suitcases, tank of gas, munchies, tunes.
