As my professin warrants that I speak, communication in an intimate relationship is very important to me. And that communication does not have to be verbal. It can be a common glance while reading or watching an Elizabeth Taylor marathon on TCM (my fav). Having a cup of joe (another fav), drinking a glass of Pinot or walking the dogs. If you are able to communicate without speaking than sign me up.
I prefer texting and emails to speaking over the phone but in person I can definitely lead a conversation. ( Besides I look so much better in person - the least photegenic of anyone on this site. Where do you guys have the time to take all those photos???) The topics of which are as diverse and eclectic as my tastes in music and film. I love classical movies and filmmaking. Music makes me happy and I am a big fan of Motown and Led Zeppelin - Classic Rock. Love, love Steven Tyler! Don't hold it against me but I have his book on the IPAD!
As to a mate I know most of you on this site would say that physical is important. I agree on some level especially when you are on a dating site and that is all that you have to go on. But in person I always defer to that which emanates from your soul, the light in your eyes as I always look a person in the eyes, your greeting and that which you don't reveal.
Over the past years I have become a lot more intuitive when it comes to people whether they are friends or more. I love good restaurants and the ambiance of eating both at dives and 5-Star establishments. BTW- I am not opposed to a candlelight dinner at home prepared by someone other than myself!! (open to being ur sous chef)
I am a women who is a child at heart, I love to laugh and do so heartily. My comedic tastes are more Jerry Seinfeld, Tina Fey. My favorite television shows are: Modern Family, 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Old Christine, Weeds, United States of Tara, Nurse Jackie, Shameless. Law and Order: Special Victims, Community, Parks and Recreation, How I Met Your Mother.
As to politics I am middle of road on some issues, conservative and liberal. I love to travel and make friends and engage with people no matter where I go or the culture or language. I love people and will speak and/or introduce myself to everyone. I am rarely at a loss for words..

FYI-it only takes me 15 minutes to get dressed to go anywhere, whether it is the Academy Awards or a Prince Concert!! Love Sushi, Vegan, Mexican, Italian,Ethiopian,Indian (u get the picture), Cupcakes! I workout so that I can indulge in cupcakes and Pinot Noir.
