Date men from United States / Arkansas / Bentonville, 56 year old

Date a soulmate from Arkansas, United States. Someone that cares about themselves and other. Sensative. Doesn't have to be physically beautiful but just beautiful as a person. Maybe explorative about other peoples ideas and feeling. Open minded about ideas and adventures.

Meet someone special from Arkansas, United States. ME: I am easy going, calm, patient, and easy to get to know. I usually plan to be spontaneous since plans change so often. I am romantic because I like to be. Little surprises when you least expect them. Flowers for no reason. I appreciate how many really funny things happen every day. For me, a sense of humor is right up there with oxygen. Not a clown. Not the life of the party. I’m probably the one who threw the party. You know I’m having fun but not embarrassing you or me.
* Perfect day: Island hopping by sail in a stiff tropical breeze with sun loving friends.
* Passion: sailing, boats, and the ocean.
* I love music – almost any kind, especially live music. Latin music makes most other music seem ordinary!
* Music: New to classical, classic rock to jazz, 80’s to country. I just don't go for opera!
* My Contact List: Every occupation and lifestyle, humble to wealthy, simple to sophisticated, but all with one thing in common – nice people who smile more than complain.
* Politics: Moderate, open minded, middle of the road - but tend toward conservative.
* TV: Not much - The DVR records news, Top Gear, Parenthood, comedy, movies. I don't watch commercials.
* If I had a motto, it would probably be “no worries”. Not that I don’t have some stress. But there’s too much stress out there – mostly unnecessary.
* Greatest accomplishment: Happy well-adjusted kids – They know they’re loved. We often laugh until it hurts.
So, what do I expect to happen?
Step one: Coffee? Dinner? A drink?
Step 87: We sail off into the sunset.
If steps 2 through 86 have lots of laughs, allow us to be ourselves, it’s calm and comfortable, and the chemistry is there – great!
But how about we just start with step one?
It will be fun no matter how many or how few steps we get to.
A famous author said: “A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words”. You don't get there overnight. It takes time.
YOU: I’m not looking for a particular hair or eye color, a certain profession, or life story.
If you are kind, gracious, feminine, and caring – laugh at yourself from time to time – not afraid to say how you feel but say it with poise – love to get up and go just as much as sit by the fire – have something you get excited about – and you know what your dreams are – then chances are we will like each other..
Want to find out?

Date a man from Arkansas, United States. I love getting out in the sun doing things like bike riding, playing golf, horseback riding, or hiking. I grew up on a farm so I also enjoy gardening.
I am told I can be a lot of fun, I have strong family values and love socializing, watching sports, listening to all kinds of music, even the new stuff (almost mandatory with teenagers). I find myself questioning my age a lot, where did the time go?
I have an athletic build, love to laugh, and am willing to try new experiences. These experiences can be simple things as long as we both enjoy doing them. Jeans are great, but I am able to suit up for the special occasions.
I go to the gym Monday through Friday at 5:00 AM, so I am a morning person, but can stay up late for the right person. These early morning work outs have kept me in decent shape and are allowing me to fight getting old.
To me, romance means honesty, loyalty, physical attraction. Long looks, holding hands, quiet time spend curled on the couch in front of the TV, as well as crazy times playing softball or floating down the river in a canoe. Romance means being together because you enjoy each other's company, being best friends and stealing a kiss in public. Romance is sensual, feeling, little caring touches. Romance comes from the right place in the other person's heart and that's what makes it romantic to those two people, at that exact time.
My closest friends describe me as very loyal. They would also say I am someone who is always there for them if they need anything. I would also hope they would say I am a good parent and a good friend.
I grew up on a farm near a small town in Illinois, which had a population of 140. My graduating class was 45 students. Growing up in this small town environment gave me values that you cannot buy nor would I ever change. Also my dad taught me that anything written on a piece of paper could be broken, but you word was an act of god.
So simply put I am trying to find my best friend that would enjoy spending time with me.
