I've been single now about six years. I'm on here because I'm finally admitting to myself what should have been obvious, maybe? The blind dates and occasional 'meet and greet' have not provided the best odds for a meaningful relationship. Plus, I'm beyond the years of hanging out in local bars to meet an attractive woman. And, Frankly, it has not been a priority.
I don't have any family here in my area anymore. My step-daughter moved to Nashville years ago, and then my other daughter followed suit last year. She says she'll never be returning. Now my ex-wife tries to invite me over to her new house for holidays sometimes (we're still good friends in the end), but sitting down with her and the new husband isn't my idea of fun. Understand, right?
And, one thing you'll discover about me is that I can talk to just about anyone - in any setting. High brow.. low brow.. From the Halls of Congress to the Billiard hall on main street, I can adapt and fit-in fairly well. I feel comfortable at any professional or casual occasion. I promise ... I'm not a pompous 'you know what'! If I can be so bold to say - I'm pretty friendly almost all of the time... really! One more trait worth mentioning is this: I don't let things bother me too much. I usually can shrug off conflicts and never hold a grudge. My memory is short when it comes to disagreements, and I'll forgive or ask for it, in the blink of an eye. Plus, I'm very optimistic usually. Even in the worst of times my outlook will hopefully inspire you. Not that I don't acknowledge serious situations. I do. But, then, I'll find a path of improvement, or at least offer some hopeful solution. "It'll work out", I always say -Watch & believe; You'll See!
I love sports and politics! Quite a mix, eh? But, if you think of it... I guess what attracts me to both is that I'm competitive by nature; I appreciate extraordinary efforts of others; And I love the drama of both subjects! My partner will have to understand when it's a big game, or election night, I'm going to be busy. Now, one is my duty in that I'll be working election night, but the second we can both enjoy. Either together alone cheering on the Hogs, etc... or inviting friends over and making a party of it! One caveat of full disclosure - come the Fall and College Football ... I love Saturdays! My TIVO is working overtime, and I zoom thru several games in a day ... so don't say I didn't warn you. :)
All in all ... I'd like to leave you with this: I am genuine, and I'll always treat you with respect. You and I WILL experience true joy! And if you love the Caribbean ... You and i just might have something going on! :)

I look for the positive in everything - unless it's been a real bad day! Professionally, I relocated to the NW Arkansas area last August and will be in a career change ....... A week’s evenings can entail exploring or reading/tv – I find energizing relaxing. Unfortunately, I do tend to take my work home with me and have that home work space, but keep it separated from the living parts of the house environment. I have been around the world, and love cultures for what they have to offer and relate well to all people. I am very driven & can be intense in situations where I make a difference, but also laid back when I can't. I always believe in laughing at one's self and learning and evolving. Fashion wise, I range between jeans and suits, but enjoy the former much more! I like to be different in a stylish, yet comfortable sense. Definitely don't follow trends for trend's sake.
