ABOUT ME...
My best friends would say I am positive, outgoing, creative, loyal, a great mom, goofy and fun with kids. I'll try anything once (unless it has to do with snow Brrrr, tropics instead, please!). I have a serious side too. I rarely admit it but I am sensitive. Leader, optimist, and passionate best describe me. I am romantic but realistic. I give great hugs, enjoy affection, especially kissing and holding hands. I spoil the people I love. I am open to talk about anything and bold enough to approach any subject.
I would not describe myself as outdoorsy. I have never been camping but am willing to try. Would also like to try hanggliding, skydiving, cliffdiving. I've not yet experienced a cruise. I plan everything to the final detail (a strength weakness I think). I am NOT a fan of hunting, guns, or anyone who changes the channel during football (I've got things in my vivid, adventurous imagination we can do during commercials). I break out in hives in weather below 30 degrees so if you enjoy snow sports I will happily sit by the fireplace ready to warm you upon return.
I love being of the female gender. Yes, it does take me an hour or more to get ready for a special occasion - I treasure every moment! I enjoy painting my nails and doing my hair as much as I enjoy wrapping a gift beautifully.

My daughter lives with me part time. She's awesome! I adore children DEFINITELY want at least 1 more. If you're allergic to cats - get over it. ;-) Apparently I can raise a child and a cat but not a plant. I can't seem to get even a cactus to survive! I blame the cat.
I teach teachers of students with special needs. I enjoy resistance training as much as I enjoy wine and chocolate. I'd really like a workout partner but not essential. When I have extra time during the week I volunteer recording books for people with vision impairments and learning disabilities. Altruism is one of my innate charater traits. Contribution and service to humanity is important to me as is quality time with friends and family.

I find it very difficult to try and describe myself to someone I have never met; all the while trying to get him to keep reading AND feel a connection? Geez, now that's a lot of pressure! LOL. I consider myself a "real" person with no hidden agenda. I was raised by my single mother and understand that life is what you put it into it. I enjoy the outdoors, good wine, conversation, laughing at myself, a sunny day in Seattle or on the lake/ski-hill, anything to do with the water, watching chick flicks....oh~and people watching! I tend to be a little goofy, but my friends say that is part of my charm. Like most, I am not an AZ native and moved here from Seattle in 2006 to be closer to my family.
