I love to play and listen to music, it is one of my favorite things. I value my family and friends greatly. I love art and music and anything creative, esp my nephew's comic books. The outdoors is probably where I feel the most calm. Ive lived abroad and have traveled a bit, I would love to do more of that, its been a lil while. I love running, hiking and yoga. Ive tried lots of adventure sports and have loved them (not saying Im the best surfer but I gave it a good try before I was carried to the shore ;). I also really like simple things like cooking, great conversation, local music and restaurants and spending an evening walking around downtown. And I especially love laughing!!! I am a nurse educator, I love my job, and I have 2 grown kids, ages 22 and 24 - who both live close by. I am very energetic and am looking for the same in a partner. There are so many things that I want to see and do.
You could call me an independent woman...I am a bit of a DIY junkie at times - I have my own tools and can do just about anything around the house or yard. But it would be nice to have someone that would be willing to do things for me, just because. I also think that it is important for two people to have their own hobbies and interests as well as some together. I am not one of those women who needs constant attention and won't let you go off and play golf with the boys...I think that it is healthy for a couple to have "me time" in addition to "us time". I like to be outdoors as much as possible, and I can clean up pretty well when needed! On weekends you will find me on some mountain, riding my bike, taking a run, or just lounging at the pool.
