When I asked my closest friends to describe me in just a few words, (its very uncomfortable describing ones self for public viewing I discovered) the words bold, tenacious, very independent, spontaneous and loves to laugh, and after that - the most common comment- they couldn't believe I was considering posting a profile online. Frankly neither can I except I am very focused on my career and time is not something I have a lot of. I have found the bar scene very shallow (big shock) and am looking for a man with more depth who can actually carry on an intelligent conversation. Someone who is very confident and comfortable in their own skin like me. I appreciate a man who is witty and up for friendly debate as I am very opinionated and passionate about my views, but at the same time I am open minded and completely respect a viewpoint outside of my own. I have a ton of drive and although I do not think my work defines me, I love what I do and it is important to me that I constantly strive to never settle and set bigger bolder goals for myself both personally and professionally. More about me, I absolutely love to eat, thank god I have the metabolism of a gazelle!! I'm quite certain in my past life I must have been a food critic as I love to try new types of food and experience new places. I think going out to eat is a culinary adventure, regardless of whether its to a 5 star restaurant or a dive bar with the best fish and chips. I love to go on spontaneous weekend trips, especially to California where some of my family lives. I am traditional in that I appreciate a man who is respectful and a gentleman (but not stuffy!), who knows how to treat me like a lady. I work a quasi-desk job that I love. Sometimes a bit too much as I spend a good amount of time there. I have a 3yr old that is my life. I share custody with his dad so he is not always with me. I am a terrible bowler but enjoy playing anyways. I do like to play games (sports) but only in the capacity of for fun. I am not much of for competition. I tend to come off a bit shy at first but that doesn't last long.

What I am looking for.... Someone who is not into the club scene. Has a sense of humor. Knows how to treat a woman. And maybe is willing and patient enough to help her to accept it.
