Now for that darn reality check: While I really am incredibly perfect, wonderful, smart, funny, domestic and adventurous (and yes, I do indeed love dogs!), I am also outgoing and energetic, honest, stable, and loyal too (and now I sound like my ADD-afflicted Golden Retriever!). And ridiculously down to earth! (Oh! With "Midwestern Values"!).
I love to travel, and am not afraid to explore new places or try new things. And if I'm going to go somewhere, be it an hour drive or a 15 hour flight, I want to try it all. Conversely, I'm also learning to be quiet and still, which is...interesting!
I'm happy, successful, calm, and (finally!) have the time to breathe, relax, and explore new places, people, and things. I've lived in Arizona most of my life, and anyone that knows me knows that I don't like to get too dirty or be too hot, yet I live in the desert and oftentimes can be found on the side of some mountain or hiking or biking trail, go figure! While I like to hike, boulder, and yes, I've even rappeled, if it's more than an overnight tent trip, I would indeed prefer a shower and indoor bathrooms, please...(Now, give me a beach, a day to dive, and my scuba gear, and I'll get as dirty as I need to to get in that dive. It all washes out, right?)
I have two amazing kids (twins) who I share custody with. They are incredibly polite, funny, respectful and resourceful. They crack me up daily, and teach me even more! I'm lucky to have them, and they are pretty sure "it's time Mom got a life!"
So who are you? You are playful, affectionate, spontaneous, fun, and not easily intimidated. You like trying out new places and things with your partner, from crazy day hikes to stupid concert venues, but also recognize that some of the best couples like and need their own space. You enjoy sports but don't yell at ESPN (OK, every once in a while is fine, but if you have Madden's personal email in your iPhone, we have a problem!). You know and appreciate that while I like my freedom, I also like knowing I can make someone else's day with a quick afternoon phone call, a post-it note in their luggage for a business trip, or even just a special meal at the end of a long day.
And if that person wants to stomp grapes with me ala Lucy or take off on some crazy cross-Atlantic flight ala Amelia after whipping up some White Chocolate Lemon Biscotti ala Ms. Stewart, well! That's even better! (Though the dog stays home with the sitter...)

. I'm a very fun, genuine, caring, giving, loving, and loyal person. Family and my close friends are very important to me and I love spending time with them whenever I can. I would do anything for those I love and care about.
I'm pretty easy going, work hard, but love to unwind and have fun on the weekends. A healthy balance between work and play is something I strive for. I can be a lot of fun, have a blast out on the town, but at the same time also love to unwind at home, cook (I love to cook), rent movies and curl up on the couch with that special someone.
