Roadtrips to Prescott, Sedona, or Flagstaff are always fun and a nice escape from the PHX heat...love the beach where my dog and I usually venture to every summer for a weekend. I love to explore all the great places and activities the great state of Arizona has to offer: trails, state parks, national parks, ghost towns, mining camps, etc.. Day hikes are fun in spring and fall, but in the summer let's make a trip up north for some cooler climes, camping and roughing it. I am collecting lapels pins on my dash mat in my car to remind me of all the cool places I've been but the truth is my travels have barely scratched the surface on Arizona's cool hangouts.
My friends and family mean the absolute world to me. We are a very tight knit group and get together for parties, happy hours, etc. a several times a year. I would love to go and not feel like the odd person out as most of my friends are married with children, etc. Going to warn you now: my friends' impression of you is important, but the good news us they're totally cool and easy to please. You win them over and it's smooth sailing.
I made it clear in my profile questionnaire that I am not interested in a smoker. Let me clarify this stance a little further: If you smoke the occasional cigar, that doesn't bother me at all, but if you smoke cigarettes regularly, DISQUALIFIED!! I quit in 2002 and cigarette smoking is a non-negotiable deal breaker for me.

My astrological sign is "Cancer", so being near water is always welcome. San Diego, Maui, Lake Powell and Coronado Island are few of my favorite spots. But, then again watching the surfing at Ocean Beach is a nice way to spend an afternoon or kayaking in a lake/ocean. I am scuba certified and would love to venture to the Islands.
I work within Corporate America at a large financial company so unwinding is a must. I am an avid reader, just a touch of an introvert. On the flip side, I am involved in various volunteer activities and looking to share these experiences. I am up for anything from working with kids, animals and families. I am actively involved in Junior Achievement of Arizona, and recently received the Business Coordinator of the Year Award. Very proud!!!
I adore my two nephews and have enjoyed coaching them on their soccer skills. They keep me busy trying to find new things to do with them, but I enjoy spending time with them doing whatever. Being from the Midwest (Minnesota), I spent quite some time at my grandparents' farm. I learned hard work is rewarding and that at the end of the day star gazing is fun. From their house I could see the Northern Lights and would love to one day go to Alaska to see them. In the mean time, Lake Powell is the best alternative to viewing the stars.
. Everyone would say I am reserved but once I am get to know you I am very outgoing. I am very family oriented and I love my two children dearly. I am looking for a genuine person who I can relate to and enjoy doing things together and with or families.
