I like to take my time w/ the big decisions and know when to defer, but feel strongly that the worse decision is no decision at all.
Me: I enjoy and can appreciate the finer things in life, but I'm really in my element keeping the routine fun and new. Let's turn the ordinary into the extraordinary together! All in all, I have a pretty wide range of interests. When I need an escape, I hit the kitchen. Getting adventurous by trying something new keeps me in my zone -- Now that's something I'd love doing with you and maybe a glass of red wine. I guess it's the Italian in me -- Cooking and passion are part of the package. Traditions are important to me and I'd love to experience yours. Current affairs are also something I follow. While I'm not a political activist, I do like to keep up with things as much as possible by trying to listen to all sides of the story. There are so many important issues that affect the world we're leaving for our children. Staying in touch hopefully allows for a balanced and educated perspective. While far from being a 'prepper,' I do think it's important to be as self sufficient as possible and have been working towards that goal - just in case.
I also enjoy playing golf (high score, but fun), shopping (yes, shopping!), live music (I used to play out back east), sailing, skiing, dinner and theater downtown, taking a day to drive to nowhere and just see where we end up, aviation, camping, hiking, biking, watching a thunderstorm roll by. The list goes on and is open to add to. In summer, I love sitting poolside w/ a good book and a pitcher of something tropical. It's a long list of interests and I try to do what I can as often as I can, but the majority of my time is spent home. I happen to like it there! It's quiet. It's private. It's home! And most of all, it's what my son needs right now. If you also have children, you know what I mean. As he becomes more self-reliant, my time opens up for more adventures. In the meantime, my biggest desire is to set a positive example when relating to others by demonstrating respect, compassion and balancing the needs of others and yourself.
When out and about, I'm comfortable in almost any situation. The company is more important than the location. The best part is no matter what we've been doing during the day, we get to come home together. As a couple, I'm hoping there's equal enjoyment in going out or hanging out - Spending time w/ the children and just spending quiet time curled up together. Quiet mornings before anyone else is awake is one of my favorite times.
You: When I think of the person I'm looking for, the words honest, open, caring, adventurous, thoughtful, intuitive, attractive, sexy, passionate and funny all come to mind. OK, how about best friend? Why not throw in comfortable with yourself and just generally happy. I find myself attracted to women who are at my stage in life, whatever the age and who prefer to leave the drama for the stage at the Buell. My sense of humor can be a bit offbeat, but I like to find humor everywhere I can.

I moved to Colorado over two years ago from Florida in regards to a job offer and I must say it is a beautiful place. I do miss Florida as well, especially the beach. While visiting...I like to ask myself: What draws the locals to live here and what are the benefits of this town...only to figure it out myself.
I have been filling my time with Church related activities and belong to a few Christian Singles groups. We go dancing together, bowling, do dinner and movies, bible studies, cooking meals, hiking and camping and just have fun with impromptu get togethers. I also enjoy home repairs and belong to a group that performs repairs and improvements for people who cannot afford them.
