I'm sure the folks all the way over there are nice people, but they're not MY type of people. Through my observations over the years - of friends, co-workers, and other acquaintances, I have never seen anything good come from a mismatch in this area. I want a partner I can trust, who I can feel comfortable around, and who in turn, trusts me and feels comfortable around me. Simply put, this mutual comfort enables both of us to simply be ourselves.
