I am an old fashioned sorta guy, I have had friends tell me I was born 200 years too late, sometimes I think they're right! I have a sense of humor that has been called whacky. I work in management and do side projects as a web developer and photographer.
I love music and singing with family and friends or gigging with a band. I attend church regularly and try to remain faithful to the calling; my ideal match is a Christian lady that shares my faith and wants Jesus to be at the center of our relationship. I love movies; westerns, sci-fi, horror films and classic comedies. The music I'm into varies heavily but 60s and 70s rock is the top biller for me. The Counting Crows are also among my favorites. I love fishing, going to the movies and day outings around town. I love to hang out with family and friend's playing a game, this is probably my favorite thing to do! I enjoy the quality time and conversation a board game offers.
I respect honesty and moral character, which seem to be in short supply these days. A person that lives their word is truly a diamond in the ruff. I believe in building trusting, loving relationships and prefer to have a few great friends versus many acquaintances; I take relationships very seriously. Friends and family are far more important than "things" or human desires and they last longer too! I am interested in the real deal, you know, "tying the knot", "the old ball 'n' chain." This guy wants to buy the cow because the milk shouldn't be free! You can probably tell by now that I don't date casually, huh?
Hopefully you now have an idea of who I am. The girl for me is definitely a Christian and likes to sing, casual dating is not her style. She likes camping, fishing, games, movies and music. She also loves to be adored and treated like the only woman in the world, because the right woman, is the only woman in the world to me. Other than that, I guess nothing else really matters.

Watching a game, the theater, concerts, a big fan of anything outdoors - the beach, snowboarding, bbq's, movies in the park, etc. Shopping... Did someone say private sale? Honestly I think it's more about the company you keep than the activity.
I love food, not like Jared and his pre-subway diet love food. I love the art that cooking is. Regardless of whether its simply firing up the BBQ and watching the game at home, going out to an amazing restaurant or staying home and making dinner and having a bottle of wine. I love to cook and and enjoy the social aspect of it.
I am part of the Evil Empire that is the New York Yankees, but I lived across the street from Fenway Park in Boston when I was in college, so I have some good stories.
Why does it bother people so much when you use CAPS in an email? Might it simply mean that the CAPS button was pushed prior to you typing away? It really means nothing. If I want to yell, I'm certainly not going to do it over email. lol.
Final thought... if you looked at my pics and hoped to find a self-portrait in my bathroom mirror or one with my shirt off while standing in front of my car... then I'm probably not the guy that you are looking for. Likewise, if you're wearing a fanny pack in any of your pics... I'd say keep clicking through profiles.

I am up for anything at least once..If I don't like it, I might even try it a second time just to make sure. I have been sky-diving and loved it. I have sat on the couch all day reading and loved that too!! I grew up and went to college living very close to the ocean. I love the smell of the ocean..when it hasn't been dumped in, of course. Okay, writing about myself... first thing I'd want someone to know - I'm happy. Life is good, working hard in a career I've been chasing since I was about 10 or 11. Really. It is paying off and there are few things that feel quite as good as that for me.
I'm close with my family even though they are back in Massachusetts. They're the greatest people in my life but due to the distance, I suppose I place a particular importance on my friends - have quite a few and they're all wonderful in different ways and loyal above all.
Love my life, travel is great but love coming home too.
Okay, more - I take good care of myself and workout a lot but won't be swallowed by the whole metro thing. There are things men just shouldn't do or phrases they shouldn't say, like... "Glitter Party"
I don't think Metro guys say that but I had to come up with an example just now. My first drafts are always rough.
As for this site - Apparently, telling Match I drink wine makes me a "fine wine connoisseur." Just so you know, if you're up for drinking box wine behind a CVS, I'm up for that too.
Did I mention I'm classy? Not like Rolls Royce classy but a Buick sort of classy where it kind of sneaks up on you and you're like "Wow, I didn't realize but this Buick is a pretty classy car!"
Also, I love dinosaurs. Love them and always have. If I had to answer why - I think it is probably because they are AWESOME. I hope we figure out that whole Jurassic park thing to bring them back because I'd love to eat one.
Anyway, lot and lots of levels to me (I know there is a weird sort of ego to write that, especially in LA where we're all so damn important) - And I'm kind of a private person in many ways but am putting a little of me out here. I hope no matter what, you are having lots of luck with this site.

Who I am - Well first of all I thank you for taking the time to read this.
I march to the beat of a different drummer.
I am an Oakland Raiders fan. Actually as I spent much of my childhood years in the Bay Area I became attached to the A's and Warriors as well. I also wish I could see more New York Islanders hockey and Dutch football (soccer-Ajax Amsterdam).
I am not afraid of joining a volleyball or softball contest. I am also a willing participant in any bowling or miniature golf events.
Music - My last two concerts were headlined by Nightwish and Rammstein. Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Depeche Mode, Combichrist, Swollen Members, Timbaland, Korn, Cocteau Twins, The Corrs, Tori Amos, Garbage, The Cranberries, Duran Duran, Tarot, Pink Floyd, the Police, Bananarama, Spice Girls (yes I did actually see them in concert when they played at the Forum), Queensryche, Type O Negative, Journey, Eminem, Public Enemy, Van Halen, The Cure, New Order, Wu Tang Clan, Ice Cube and a whole lot more.
Politics - I vote for the candidate and not the party.
Travel - I was formerly employed as a Reservation Agent for one of the major airlines so I have learned to appreciate all facets of the travel industry Yes I do confess to using the travel benefits I had at the time. Due to the downsizing/outsourcing in that industry I no longer have those benefits but I still appreciate travel. Places that I have been to include Chicago, Holland, Belgium, Montreal, Toronto, United Kingdom,. Ireland, Greece.
Films - I am comfortable seeing a film at the chain or the art house. I like films of a variety of genres. I am just as happy to see a political movie like Syriana or Ghost Writer as I am seeing the Muppets movie or the Hunger Games.
OK - I do have to say this - I get around Los Angeles without owning a motor vehicle. Depth perception challenges have contributed to me not obtaining a driver's license (diagnosed on more than 1 occasion).
who I seek - managing to read this all is a great thing. The desire for mutual respect is important as well.
