Meet someone special from Los Angeles, United States. I like when bands play authentic covers. I've done one marathon and my goal is to run one in all fifty states. The first time I went surfing a dolphin jumped out of the water and nearly landed on me. I've been addicted to the ocean and surfing ever since. Note: don't ask me to teach you because I'm pretty horrible myself. Surfing is way harder than it looks, even for a former skateboarder/snowboarder. The majority of my pictures are from college. I still look the same, but yes I do have other interests besides partying. I've grown up - a little.
I moved out to LA about 2 years ago from Philadelphia and have been loving the weather and living 2 minutes from the ocean ever since. By day I work in sales for a logistics company(yawn). By night I run an extreme sports company that my roommate and I started out of our garage. A lot of my free time consists of sewing (yes, we have a huge machine in our garage/sweat shop) and packaging our product. Entrepreneurship runs in my family and I'm pretty sure I've inherited the gene.
I'm also learning programming and getting into the LA tech start-up scene( I am a dork, no hiding it). I like people with a lot of energy and passion.
Spicy food and tacos, Pacifico is the greatest beer ever made, and all red wines generally taste the same. I know, "how uncultured." Convince me otherwise, please!

Ok... on to the awkward self-reflections:
I rarely refuse an opportunity to do something I’ve never done before. It’s led to some pretty interesting experiences, like joining a Bulgarian bus tour of Greece, couch-surfing in Oslo, and awkward situations involving yoga poses, to name a few. There is a long list of things I still want to do before my time here is up, and I've been doing pretty well knocking a few things out every year. To keep the opportunities coming, I've made education a top priority and managed to have an awesome time in the process. I graduated from law school in May and there are plans for an MBA much later down the road.
Trying to stay in balance in the hustle and bustle is a physical and mental game. I work out often, eat/cook healthy at home (I don't own a microwave and grill just about everything) and generally keep an even keel. Firm believer in "everything in moderation." I don't like to habor negativity so I’m genuinely patient and tactfully honest. I own up to my mistakes, no matter the consequences. My suit-and-tie career is coupled with a true appreciation for free time. My friends and family keep me grounded and I love finding excuses to celebrate with them. I've always preferred board sports (snowboarding, wake boarding, surfing) over traditional sports, but I love football season (still a Saints fan) and going to events in general. Listening to the ocean, staring at the stars or a night skyline, walking through art exhibits and jamming at a concert do for me what I imagine church does for other people.
I’m in a transition back to LA for work after spending five of the last six years in the Bay Area/NorCal for school. Most of my friends in the LA area are buddies from high school and we've taken very different paths since our days of punk concerts and piercings (including music tastes and attire), so I’m not counting on them to introduce me to the kind of folks I’ve grown accustomed to. I guess that’s why I’m here. I’m not in a rush to settle down necessarily, I want to meet some cool new people to be "weekend warriors" with. If that turns into something romantic naturally, awesome, though my expectations are realistic.
My ideal counterpart would be in a similar place in her life and be headed in a similar direction. Ultimately, I want a female equal that encourages improvement, is ambitious towards her own goals, and doesn't think chivalry is chauvinistic. Obviously, the more we have in common, the easier that equality is to notice online. But, of course, life would be boring without some variety and my biases are fairly limited. Bonus points for entrepreneurship, talents in the arts, humanitarian efforts and foreign languages (all areas I’m looking to grow in).

Post school, worked in talent management for a few years, but knew that my heart and passions lay elsewhere. Now, working in the recording/mix engineer field for music. At some point I will probably make the switch over to Sound Editing for Film (yes, those words need to be capitalized... to make them look way cooler). :)

I do love to have fun go out and live, but also I can lounge and chill at home and meditate to promote and encourage positive outcomes in life. I love to be creative and write songs, play guitar, and in general just like to learn. You gotta find that spark and energy that keeps your clock ticking and moving. Time is too precious to waste and there always room to build and grow as an individual and hopefully with you. I have no expectations and I let life go with the flow, but at the same time I make sure I meet my desired goals. I'm ambitious, optimistic, and passionate, and I know one day I will be successful doing what I love most. All around I'm a busy individual but I do know there is someone out there for everyone.
