Being a chef by trade, I am passionate about cooking with local farm fresh foods, organic, when I can. I try go to the Santa Monica farmers market every Wednesday or Saturday, and be a part of the community and support the local farmers. Cooking at Universal Studios every September to help raise money for Meals on Wheels with chefs from all over the country.

I love most types of music but my favorites are jazz, classical, R and B. (non metallic) rock and, lately, "world" music (thanks KCRW!). While fun activities are important, what I value most are my relationships and quality time with friends and family (including my black lab Buddy). Being with the right person can make even the most mundane activity special.
I am physically very active and spend as much time as I can outdoors. Weekend getaways are a great way to relax. Santa Barbara and the Central Coast are favorite destinations. Discovering fun things locally is always nice. Hopefully we can show each other places we haven't been.
I must say, my appetite for drama has decreased over the years. I don't believe a relationship has to be turbulent to be passionate and exciting so women who are confident and mature are very attractive to me.
