Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Ok, I guess I'm not really on match out of desperation but more a sense of being overwhelmed by work. I'm 24 and working 50 hours a week so I really don't have time to make it to the bars, and I'm not in school anymore which truly does make it difficult to meet new people. It is hard for me to describe myself without viewing myself through other eyes or being cocky by only describing my best characteristics. I really love live music and have been into the electronica scene since before it was cool again. I like to play video games and have long drawn out conversations with friends or strangers about touchy subjects or absolutely nothing. Still reading?? Well, I will tell you a bit about myself then. I enjoy making everyday an adventure. Some days this may be simply cooking a new recipe or eating somewhere new. Other times it is an all out excursion to some new state or country I have never been before. I enjoy the small joy that is attained from cooking something tasty or finding a great new restaurant or a great new park to walk in. We are only on this earth for a short time, no point in having a daily grind, right?
I am very close with my family and I would like to find some who is close with hers well. To me life is just a shell of what it would be without them. When I get asked what my biggest fear is...it is an easy answer: Life without my family.
I always feel best when I am able to stay active on a regular basis, so I strive to do just that. I am currently training for a marathon. The self improvement this forces me to undergo has been fantastic. I also do a fair amount of running, road biking, rock climbing, hiking, golf and tennis. Colorado summers are the best and I try to spend as much time outside before it gets cold again. When it does get cold I have a slightly nerdy side that shows up. I love to read and watch movies. I am grateful for my good health, great family and wonderful friends in my life. What I am looking for in a woman is someone that I can something more with. I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona a year ago and was lucky enough to find a job that allowed me to move back home to Colorado and near my family. During the weeks I often like to stay in and watch a good movie, or read a book in the park. I coach youth hockey for the city of Longmont in the winter and can't wait for the next season. Recently I have been able to expand out and start traveling and within the past year I have been to London, Amsterdam, and Las Vegas all for the first time. Hawaii is on my hit list next. I am a licensed pilot as well and if I did have to pick one passion it would be aviation. I am stoked to be able to start flying regularly again this summer, the "itch" is only really understood if you have flown yourself.
I moved from New York a few years ago to pursue my career as an air traffic controller. Usually the first thing people notice about me is the accent and the unexplainable "New York attitude". People say that I could recite 17th century romantic poetry and still sound like I am trying to pick a fight. It does serve me well however on the internet radio show I co-host with a co worker of mine. It's a good mix of politics and comedy but that's a different discussion. I like to stay in shape, and learn new ways to have fun. I'd like to learn all the dance styles. Someday I want to travel a bunch and experience new places.
