I have been drawn to Colorado since I was 14 years old and love everything that the mountains offer. I have lived here for 11 years. I am a graduate of CU and have a great job that I really enjoy. My background is in Engineering but i'm fortunate because I've been able to grow in areas that have allowed me to learn and explore other professional interests. I'd say I'm pretty laid back, non judgemental, I can be friends with pretty much anyone. My three favorite things in life right now besides the obvious are listening to Wiz Khalifa, watching movies and the University of Colorado. I pretty much like all good music and am down to go to a concert anytime. I like going to the movies. I am a really big sports fan, mostly college football and college basketball so I don't miss many CU basketball or football games. I also like hanging out with friends, Waterworld in the Summer and Vail in the Winter. I love hanging out with my two year old and four year old nieces and doing some of the crazy things that they come up with. I can get along with just about everybody that I meet and generally I find it pretty easy to make conversation with new people. I suppose I have good people skills. I recently started a new job that is quite challenging but I really enjoy it. I have terrible grammar and I'm probably the worst speller you will ever meet. I really have no idea how to use semi colons or colons so if I think I should use one in a sentence I just put a period and start a new sentence. I grew up in a tiny town in north Georgia and I love being outdoors away from cities when I can. Me: Relatively new Colorado resident, moved to Longmont for work, which is challenging and fun (and sometimes stressful). Outdoors lover! In the winter I snowshoe, ski, hike, and watch A LOT of movies. In the summer I paddle and trail run. I am currently training for a few trail ultramarathons, and pacing my buddy at the Leadville Trail 100. I am at a very stable point in my life, incredibly happy and blessed to be where I am and have the friends and family that I do.
You: Be happy with who you are and love adventure! There is rarely a dull moment, but you're cool with staying in on occasion. (I'm not a big fan of chick flicks, but it's not difficult to talk me into watching one now and then). I'm looking for someone to spend my weekends with and enjoy this great state together!
